2/ “what about the flu...CDC estimates 480 kids died from flu in 2019-2020.” Actual count was 199, which was a high in flu deaths. More kids <18 have died from Covid in past 18 months than from flu in past 3 years. khou.com/article/news/h…

3/ “Flu is more dangerous to kids than Covid.” Mortality rate for Covid and Influenza is 0.02% for people 24 and younger in Florida. R0 for Delta is 8, Influenza 1-2.

5/ “forcing kids to wear a mask is Munchausen by proxy....” no man, no it’s not. No citation needed...I’m using the MD card that you don’t know what you are talking about here. Neither is making your is making a kid eat vegetables, wear a seat-belt, or sit in a car seat.

6/ "You’re child is more likely to be killed by a falling rock from the sky." Actually, meteor chance of death is 1/250k, which is < than 1/3000. You are more likely to die from a meteor strike than from a Covid Vaccine, so there’s that fox17.com/news/local/nas…

7/ “Blah blah masks cause increased CO2 levels”

9/ "no data masks work". Actually...“No data masks work”. Mask wearing lowered risk of infection by 70% USS Roosevelt outbreak. 10% increase in mask wearing tripled likelihood of stopping community transmission.

12/ Masks reduce spread of SARS-CoV2. Covid is indeed dangerous to kids, 55 of which are being hospitalized/day in Florida. If we want to mitigate spread, we need to mask up, adults/teachers/school staff need to vaccinate, and we need to use common sense to mitigate spread. ✌️
