@mikefarnworthbc We heard about arrestees kept in overheated vans meant to carry fewer prisoners, hands tied & finally driven at breakneck speeds over logging roads until passengers throw up. Of the "green men" (RCMP tactical?) whose name badges are obscured by disallowed thin blue line badges

The land defenders' do not resist, so the fact so many are injured by police, esp by the "green men" who seem to have the job of roughing them up, is proof this violence is deliberate. Teal Jones wants access to the massive ancient trees now, & RCMP will harm kids to help them.

Care to weigh in, @dave_eby? You're the one lawyer who would have gone hard after this extra-legal violence when you were in opposition, and before that when you ran @bccla. Now you're Attorney-General, & you're mute. How fast you turned. #bcpoli #FairyCreek

@Dave_Eby @bccla @melaniejmark There have also reportedly been indirect casualties. The Indigenous man with heart trouble whom police separated from his medication when they confiscated land defenders' belongings did later die in hospital. And reportedly a suicide after violence. Media: care to investigate?

@Dave_Eby @bccla @melaniejmark RCMP have destroyed vehicles deliberately & needlessly. They allowed *the logging company* Teal Jones to confiscate defenders' belongings & items at #FairyCreek camps - this is obviously illegal - & take them back to their own worksites. Where is the BC govt?

Someone at CBC told Matriarch Marlene Hale that they'd heard cops had smashed cameras & they could not afford to risk their equipment. (!) #bcpoli

@Dave_Eby @bccla @melaniejmark Media also can't easily get recording equipment up to #FairyCreek because RCMP won't let them drive close to the arrests, forcing them to walk too far w/ heavy equipment, only to be *illegally* kept too far from arrests to properly record them. @Dave_Eby @bccla @melaniejmark Given the internat'l attention on #FairyCreek, from the @guardian to @teenvogue to @LeoDiCaprio & @MarkRuffalo, it's a measure of what great pals @jjhorgan is with Teal Jones & co that he won't save the last of these giants in this one area. That would set a precedent, eh, John?
