Kenney - “Health care workers are burnt out, but we spend more money on healthcare than anywhere in Canada, wink wink…”

Kenney “We’re adding capacity, but we have to slow transmission. We need to increase vaccination! I tried to bribe you, what happened, it’s always worked elsewhere…”

Kenney - “we made vaccination super easy, AND WE TRIED TO BRIBE YOU, but you didn’t listen. It’s almost as if some government spent a year and a half politicizing this and minimizing it!”

Kenney - “So we’re doing vaccine passport restrictions. You did this, I didn’t want to, why did you make me do this?”

Kenney - “We’re increasing a bunch of restrictions, but we aren’t closing businesses or doing anything with schools, cause kids are fine”

Kenney - “I wanted to move from a pandemic to an endemic” (actual quote)…

How does he still not know that an endemic isn’t a thing?

Shandy - “Liquor sales still 10 PM though… Indoor dining is closed for all restaurants as of the 20th, outside is still ok… Party at the Sky Palace ya’ll!”

Shandy - “Retail is down to 1/3 occupancy, for fitness, movies etc”

Shandy - “Virtual fitness classes are still allowed”

That one needed to be explained?

Shandy - “Get immunized, call 811 immediately”

Shandy - “Surgeries are being delayed because Daddy Kenney wanted his cowboy cosplay.” (Or something)

Shandy - “So yeah, we broke MyHealth records. The card won’t be available until Sunday, please don’t use MyHealth records for now.”

Hinshaw - “Thanks to all the healthcare workers dealing with this mess that we made for you”

Hinshaw seems less laughy. It almost seems likes she’s realizing that a lot of people can die based on the decisions she, Shandy and Kenney make…

Hinshaw - “Things are worse than they have ever been. Please don’t focus on the fact that we totally let this happen so Kenney could have his cowboy cosplay and travel Europe” (or something)

They’re still not doing anything about quarantining kids or close contacts in classrooms yet.

Yiu is earnestly pleading for people to get vaccinated.

That was the most sincere of any of the speakers by a country mile.

For Kenney - Is there going to be any accountability for this disaster?

Kenney - “We’re not focused on politics, we’re focused on solutions, so we’re not going to talk about that at all.”
