@GFANAP a few minor tech glitches while hearing from @UNAIDS @Winnie_Byanyima - when HIV drugs first came on the market, they cost 10K/year pp and supplies were limited - today high quality #HIV treatment is just 75/year - happened b/c a shift to global generic production ....

..wasn't perfect, but we are not doing this in #COVID19 and for newer #HIV advances such as long-acting trtmts. this would be a #gamechanger b/c it is now undermining our progress. We have the lessons, we know what works we need to increase the momentum for change.

25 yrs for @UNAIDS, #GlobalFund20 - we can leverage our experience. "For me this is a moment of hope because we are together and we know what to do."

Back to Rachel O from @GFANAP : laws, policies and services need to urgently empower those who are left behind - we have to adapt health responses to put #lastmilefirst to put those most affected at the centre

@GlobalFund needs resources to close the #DeadlyDivide before 2030.
