Republicans aren't living in reality when it comes to Covid & statistics. And it's mostly due to Covid misinformation which has been amplied on social media like Twitter & Facebook.
Here's the study done by the CDC in Los Angeles that WaPo cites that says unvaccinated are 29.9% more likely to be hospitalized due to Covid.

And here's the direct correlation between media that amplifies Covid misinformation & vaccine rates which results in higher rates of hospitalization & deaths.
