today marks my 3mth in #NFTs
heres 5 things i've learnt
๐๐งต
ps: started with 2E,
0 tech skills,
0 twitter follower,
0 connections in the space.
(i share this, so you know im not talking from a high horse and u can do the same)
1. learn
if things seem complicated and way over your head, but ppl are talking abt it and there is buzz ard it. don't just wave it off. i did that with #nfts in March and once again when gen kongz were at 5E and when @AnonymiceNFT was free to mint...
take the time to understand it and then be the judge to say whether its for you or not.
never assume.
2. pay ur dues
right when i got in the space, i know i want to start a project one day. i have no connections, no tech skills, no idea. so how? go volunteer your time. thats when i reached out to @day25 and started to help with @NFTeams_ which just sold out ytdy! ๐ฅ
don't penny pinch, give give give and you shall receive. never asked for a single dime from @day25 and had no exception of anything, tho @day25 took care of me ๐โโ๏ธ
even without, my intent was to learn, so im more than happy to give.
learn to pay your dues.
3. community
i have a family of 3 (soon 4), a IRL biz to run. so i barely have anytime to hang out in discords to shoot the shit all day. but being able to hang in one/two is important as your net worth is your network.
my biggest incentive to get the genesis @CyberKongz , is to get into the gated channel of gen hall.
just think of a second, this group of degens all hold a $300k+ USD membership... clearly, they must be doing sth right..
be the dumbest person in the room.
4. connect
reach out to ppl a few steps ahead of you and connect with a purpose so you can learn from them. everyone's busy. what value do you bring? how can you help? why would they want to meet with you?
never ever approach a dm with a straight ask. no one likes that, and no one has time for that. don't ask for how you can help or be of value, show value.
ie. hey i see that you are looking for a pixel artist, this is a sample i created for you. let me know if i can help.
5. be a creator
read this and read this again.
producing content > consuming content
what i've decided to share are all the lessons that i've learnt. not so much abt the flips and which projects to invest in because mastering these 5 lessons would yield you much greater returns.
projects come and go
your skills, abilities, connections you develop
those stay.
having said that i gotta say i got real lucky to flip my way up and if you want to get lucky as well, what do you do?
follow/retweet this ๐๐๐
so you know when my next thread drops as i share more on what i look for in #nft projects.

1. fomo - fear of missing out.
price doubles and greens across the board.
"lets ape in!" "wen moon?"
+90% ppl trade on "feeling", with VERY little research on the fundamentals of the project, hoping for the easy X2/3
- this is me as well ๐
(dozens of sales every hr)
first off, we need to understand what #coinbase is and what it means to the #nft/#crypto world.
then you will know how their entry will literally change your life if you are in #nfts now.
so pay attention ๐
0.1 coinbase
is one of "the easiest place to buy and sell crypto". if #robinhood was for stocks, then #coinbase is for crypto.
$coin - $249USD/share
market cap - $52 billion
2100+ staff
+68,000,000 users...
for comparison #twitter market cap is $49 billion...
"Passive Income" = LOSE ALL YOUR ๐ฐ
heres WHY ๐งต๐
with every project coming up with a $token giving hopes to the promise land of passive income..
is this REALLY the truth? what do YOU need to be aware of? what would wipe your wallet?
what to hold to truly take advantage of this #defi+#nft movement? ๐
0.1 the start
the genesis of this is started by @CyberKongz with their 10 $banana yield/day for 10 days.
current price of nanas, ~$72 = $720/day ~$260k/yr.
not too shabby for holding an jpeg.
