Firstly, Candace Owens (deliberately) mis-identifies #BlackLivesMatter.

That is the name of a movement around the world that IMO can be summed as anti-racism. (And yes, it is about racism toward one group, for good reason.)

BLM is also the name of a political organization.

Owens, like other fascists, doesn't care whether readers understand the difference between talking about a specific organization & a mass movement.

They have latched onto the domestic terrorism history of some past BLM associates.

While claiming 1/6 was just a tourist visit.

The disinfographic contains multiple fallacious dogwhistles to white nationalists, white supremacists, & people who are racist against any "people of color" but especially against African Americans & others of African descent.

Most of the items are "psychological projection."

Some of the most egregious of them are:

-The claim that the far right "creates victors" and the far left "creates victims."

This is so psychologically abusive, I don't even know where to start with it.

And the four lies at the end of the list are particularly bad (all of the items are bad.)

As long as at least one side of the debate are lying and projecting this brazenly, no resolution of the problem is possible.

Democrats must hold & grow their congressional majorities.

IMO, Democrats must attain and grow their majorities federally and in every state and territory immediately and for the next several years. I'd say 10 years is a good target to aim for.

Republicans have shown they cannot be trusted to be law abiding.

Hardly any of the hundreds of congressional Republicans are willing to listen & learn about subjects outside their own experience, like what it's like to be on the receiving end of racism, esp. at the hands of law enforcement and other institutions.

However, I was willing to:

When the GQP abandoned any semblance of respecting the rule of law on 1/6 and since, I started testing the claims they made on key issues like racism.

My informal and self-directed education has moved on to learning about the defeated CSA's
"Lost Cause" myth. That's very interesting.

Prior to my shift away from supporting the Republican party I had gotten into the habit of dismissing any claims made about white supremacy and white nationalism. Some of that was due to the carefully crafted lies of TFG's speechwriter, Stephen Miller.

Here's how that works:

I know I am not & never have been a white nationalist, let alone a white supremacist. Unfortunately, I unwittingly contributed in a tiny, tiny, way to the enabling of those groups among the broader group of voters for TFG & his henchmen over time.

Now I see, & I have stopped.

Along with observing millions of otherwise sensible people decline a life saving vaccine, I'm observing that millions of people still support TFG, his henchmen, & their ideology.

Mixed feelings. It's sad and tragic for those who die because of this. OTOH, now we see it clearly.

So I remain available if anyone would like to learn more about how and why so many people were brainwashed into these pandemic-level mind viruses.

The topic is so enormous that this is the most feasible way to offer help.

A #CountryOverParty🇺🇸 approach can save democracy.
