Water protests have spread to the Chaharmahal Bakhtiari province (today its 4th day) which is the origin of many downstream rivers.

What is more, they are chanting "Reza Shah, Rest in Peace"! Reza Shah, contemporary with Ataturk, is commonly known as the father of Modern Iran.

I cannot tell you how much of an insult this is to the the Islamic Republic which has hailed itself as the liberator of masses from the tyranny of the kings.

But since 2017-18 protests, people have gone back to appreciate how much Reza shah did for Iran.

As for Isfahan, even though they did not chant any non-water related slogans, as I predicted below, security forces have moved to dismantle and tear apart protesters' shelters.

You might say, well so what... let them protests until they are tired?

Well, they have given ultimatum to the authorities. As for Isfahan, they have threatened to blow up the wtare pipe water to Yazd. In Chaharmahal, they have threatened to tear down IRGC water tunnel workshops.

And if you think they cannot do that, apparently the have done it 22 times already!
