Humans generally:
😶Do as they are told by perceived authority figures
😶Do not want to be responsible for poor decisions
😶Think & live in familiar patterns
😶Care & worry
When they have an 'upline' telling them what to do they feel safer as that person has the accountability.
This is why many people enjoy tribes & a place in society where they know what their role and these patterns are.
Even leaders enjoy an upline to whom they can delegate responsibility up the chain.
Eg. If a person, with limited world experience (& perhaps only a specific type of schooling), found themself as a leader of a country and was bombarded with 'climate information' framed as disaster they may want someone 'up the chain' to provide them with a plan and guidance.
I have seen people follow rediculous plans because a leader showed confidence in a plan they had put together.
Basic skills & awareness completely missing & no mandatory training. This is what democracy permits.
Few people have courage to question authority.
Few people challenge a status quo.
Few people think outside of schooled patterns.
Few people question all aspects of life.
Few people take responsibility.
Our nervous system is over stimulated by life & craves the safe & familiar.
As events unfold over the coming months 'n years please remember:
People are far more likely to be unaware, driven by their needs, perhaps a little dim, or lacking motivation often due to doubts....
... than they are to be evil...
... even when showing you their anger & pain.
