@lfrayer is the same person who had supervised the work of Furkan Khan, another @NPR editor who had urged Indians to “give up” Hinduism to fix all problems. Furkan’s tweet echoed Hindu hating language of a suicide bomber who killed 40 Indians a few months earlier in 2019. 4/n
@lfrayer did not dismiss Furkan despite the tweet. Furkan was allowed to “resign” with no further repercussions. Despite being a publicly funded entity, @NPR has never investigated or withdrawn Furkan's work, much of it created jointly with Lauren herself. 5/n

No surprise then, that the same reporters and media continue to deny or downplay the very existence of #Hinduphobia and bias against India and even promote those who advocate for dismantling of Hinduism. 8/n
