So. We threaten people who take CERB and the unvaccinated. K.
I don’t like that people are unvaccinated either. However the response to #COVID has been cocked up by governments of every level and now they’ve found scapegoats for their own malfeasance and ineffectiveness
These are the same people who chose big box stores over grandma and lost. They played with people’s lives and lost. And we all lost as a result. The same governments that cut health care at the beginning of this pandemic 😷
And they will use the unpopularity of the unvaccinated as a wedge issue for political gain because they know they cocked up this pandemic response so badly.
Where did all of that federal money to fund contact tracing that was then dismantled, PPE that can’t be found, testing?

It has always baffled me how "woke" is something people run away from (probably because they're centrists who run from everything). Especially these days when we know our country that prides itself on fairness is anything but

I feel heard.
White people can be terrible hosts. They nickel and dime you for everything. It’s like they don’t know how to give of themselves without equating it to a transaction. They live transactionally and it’s sad bc they don’t know how to be a part of a community
This spills over into every part of their lives: their relationships are transactional and therefore lack depth and true emotional support. And if you say something they don’t like they cut off communication because it’s a transaction that didn’t go through to them
How many times have you been to a BYOB party or dinner 🙋🏾‍♀️
First time I told my parents about BYOB they were like “if you can’t afford to have a party/treat your guests why are you having a party?”

I'm loving @AnnamiePaul's resignation speech because she didn't shy away from the fact that the attacks against her have worn her down. That's true, that's real. This is real mental health shit #cdnpoli
The @canadiangreens kneecapped her then engaged in the gaslighting which is what many BIPOC experience in leadership positions. You can't window-dress and expect to solve everything
"Crawling over glass, spitting up blood". I love this. This is exactly what it feels like. She's being very real and I'm here for it. Canada needs to take a hard look at why it engages in so much #misogynoir and the Greens had better take a hard look at their racism
