Before i go to bed I would like to mention that in the past week I, and many like me who try to cover the #Ukraine πΊπ¦ invasion as best as we can, have on occasion posted a video or photo which turned out to be old or taken out of context
I'd like to stress that whenever this was the case this was not an intentional spread of misinformation. In the speed of which footage, updates and other information comes to us, sometimes something slips passed without the proper verification
These are crazy times, which also means we work at a speed many of us have never experienced before, the constant flood of information can even for us be disorientating at times, which means mistakes could be made.
So whenever you see us posting something which turns out to be false, please remember we're doing the best we can.
Don't be to harsh in your judgement, but do call us out on it when you see it. That way we keep each other in check and be assured of reliable coverage.
