The UK provide £4.1 million for the BBC World Service as part of a cross-government effort to spread disinformation on the #Russia and #Ukraine war, as well as policing support for the International Criminal Court's investigation into war crimes that previous US admin sanctioned.
One of the greatest aspects of #Russia's tactic is that the Kremlin allowed #Ukraine’s telecommunications infrastructure to continue operating. Many cities retain a good proportion of pre-war connectivity, which means Russia is avoiding the destruction of the infrastructure.
The still functioning internet has allowed Ukrainians to keep in touch with their families separated by the war and to keep in contact with the outside world. #Russia's permission for #Ukraine to keep its networks running is also an important source of intelligence gathering.

It was reported in an article written by Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper quoting sources at the MoD.
Russia had summoned and told the #US Ambassador in #Moscow John Sullivan, that relations between the two countries were on the “on the verge of a breach”. #Russia delivered a formal complaint, apparently over Joe Biden’s claim that Vladimir Putin was a “war criminal”
