Latest ISW map of #Mariupol. The pocket around the #Azovstal plant is collapsing quickly. Very likely that #Ukrainian troops there have little to no ammo. Some fighting from holdouts around #Primorsky district, but likely just clearing ops at this point.
Lack of significant arms or ammo is also supported by the low level TU-22 bombing runs earlier today. As well as the mass gatherings of #Chechen fighters in #Mariupol for more propaganda videos. It may take several more days for #Russia to capture of kill every last fighter.
However, for all intents and purposes, including historical records, the battle of #Mariupol should be over within the next 48 hours or so.
#Chechen TikTok squads will start posting from inside the #Azovstal plant as soon as they entered it. So, there will be no lag time between the final assault and information indicating it’s over. Will post the videos as soon as we see them.

#RussianUkrainianWar Update - #Russia has launched a new offensive across the entirety of the eastern front. #Ukraine️ troops have had limited success at slowing the attacks but 🇷🇺 is gaining ground across most of this map right now. Area to watch short term is circled in blue. Image
This blue circle represents nearly 40% of the #UkraineArmy combat power and its currently at risk of being cut off from the rest of the country. The #Russians will attempt to connect the #Izyum axis with an attack from somewhere in the south likely around #Horlivka.
If the #Russians can encircle those troops they will try to bleed them dry of ammo and manpower just like in #Mariupol. The #Russians have re-opened a southern axis in an attempt to start that encirclement and have taken the town of Malynivk and are close to taking others.

#Russia has freely admitted via it’s state owned news RIA as well as other outlets that it has been #deporting #Ukraine️ citizens since the start of the #Ukraine️war. However, this would represent a serious increase in forced #deportations. reuters.com/world/europe/m…

Commander of the #Azov Regiment, Denis Prokopenko, has released a video showing hundreds of civilians trapped alongside #Ukrainian defenders underneath the #Azovstal Metallurgical Plant in #Mariupol. The cities defenders are making a last stand against relentless #Russia attacks.
Here is the statement by Denis Prokopenko and a rough translation below. In summary he asks for a humanitarian corridor to evacuate the women and children civilians, wounded soldiers and dead, so that they can be buried with dignity.
I am commander of Azov regiment, Denis Prokopenko. I call to the leaders of the world. Right now, in Mariupol, at "Azovstal" steel factory hundreds of civilians are sheltering. Among them - people of all ages, women, children, families of Mariupol defenders.

Overnight #Russian Missile strikes hit several cities throughout #Ukraine in the early morning today. 🇷🇺 struck the following targets: In Kramatorsk 8 residential buildings were destroyed, civilian infrastructure was damaged and an education facility was badly damaged.
In #Lviv 6 people were killed and 11 were wounded. 40 cars were damaged or destroyed and a hotel was damaged. No apparent military targets were destroyed.
These strikes are likely the result of cruise missile strikes. An alert was sent out overnight after the Strategic Bomber Bear NET went active, which usually precedes these attacks. More footage from the rooftops of #Lviv this morning.

Actual close up of the #Moskva post explosion. We are showing a side by side of new pic and a file photo for reference. Looks like it was #Ukraine #NeptuneMissiles that sank the ship. At water line 2/3 the way fwd looks like 2 holes. Consistent with anti-ship missile targeting.
Additional, lower quality photo of the #Moskva burning and sinking in the Black Sea.
Infographic provides an overview of where the various weapons systems were onboard the #Russian #Moskva. Looks like the #Ukrainian #Neptune hit dead center of the ship at the water line and caused a fire to break out aft of the bridge as evidenced by significant smoke damage.

The #Chechen TikTok squads are starting to post victory videos around #Mariupol. This almost certainly means the western pocket has fallen and the one around #Azovstal will fall soon. Given the speed of collapse in west the last UAF probably only have 2-3 days before it’s over.
#Russia provided an ultimatum to #Mariupol defenders in the #Azovstal plant and the last pocket of defense for the city. Surrender on April 17 by 6:00 am Moscow time or be killed. That time has come and gone. They have not surrendered. reuters.com/world/europe/r…
