1/11 Recently my entire school was given a form to fill out. It was all about preferred pronouns and inclusive language. 🙄 We’d already had a class where we spoke about “inclusive language” so I knew what they WANTED me to put. #SexMatters #SexNotGender #Biology

2/11 The first question was, “Would you ever use the phrase “hi guys”?” Seriously?!? They're trying to get you to say no because a TIM might take offence even though in Ireland we often use the word guy for boys AND girls. #WomensRightsAreHumanRights #SexIsReal #Biology

3/11 The next one, “What pronouns are YOU comfortable with when being addressed by someone else? He/She/They/One/Other.” What the hell? Who ADDRESSES someone using he or she?

4/11 I chose “other” and told them to use the same pronouns they used IN THEIR OWN QUESTION. The same pronouns you use when addressing ANYONE - you!

5/11 Looking back I really should have selected "one"!😂 One is One's preferred pronoun henceforth!😂

6/11 Next they asked if One would use somebody’s preferred pronouns. One wanted to say definitely not but there wasn’t an option for that. There wasn’t even a No option. One’s speech is One’s own and won’t be compelled under any circumstance. #FreeSpeech #WeWillBeHeard

7/11 The only options were Yes, Probably, Probably Not and Not Sure. One had to grudgingly go with Probably Not, but there’s no probably about it! One uses sex-based pronouns as we have always done. #SexBasedPronouns #WhatIsAWoman #AdultHumanFemale #SexNotGender #SexMatters

8/11 What next? Preferred adjectives? One’s adjectives are beautiful and intelligent and if anyone refuses to describe One as such it is hateful bigotry!

9/11 Next was a question asking how the school could promote the theme of choosing words that heal and not hurt. HA! Not encouraging the students to call One a TERF and a transphobe for starters!
