1) Are you taking parental leave or having a break from work to care for your children with #longcovid?

“I am wondering how parents are managing their work life whilst their little ones are so poorly. So far I have juggled things and taken annual leave but

"I managed to juggle it for 6 mths then realised we were in for the long con. I left work after taking a 2wk break and noticing a difference in my daughter when I was able to give my all to her. Not everyone is able to do this I know but it’s working for us"

I am really lucky to be able to WFH even though I am a clinician in the #NHS. Most of my work is digital consults/workshops or telephone calls. We have enough people in the team that can cover me to see pts at home or in clinic if I am unable to go"

"I work shifts & can switch around sometimes but parental leave and annual leave only goes so far. I felt like I was messing them about. We agreed to put it in writing that we would continue to accommodate shift changes and hold some annual leave for emergency situations"

"I stopped working went on the sick 1st - then left. I'm thinking of doing bank work on the #NHS so at least I can work when Dad is home.
It's hard because no end in sight so for us , one of us had to stay with my son so I do all the running around"
