#CNN's reporting of the (ongoing) surrender of #Azovstal obviously parroting #Kiev, is so absurd & obviously pathetically bias, that no one could seriously call it journalism. Firstly, the UA armed forces "launched an operation to rescue the defenders". Their term for "surrender"

Next 260 people simply "left" or have been "rescued" from the plant. Seriously wounded were "evacuated" to Novoazovsk. Another 211 were "taken... through the humanitarian corridor" to Olenivka.

those 260 #Ukrainian soldiers, wounded or not, are in #Russian captivity and were taken to #Donetsk. They are now POW's. Malyar said "An exchange procedure will be carried out to return them home" as if this was all one big logistical undertaking. Of course ultimately, POWs are
exchanged at the end of a conflict & returned home. Unless any are charged with certain crimes by Russia, we would expect the same to happen, but this does not mean that there is any such operation or agreement for one going on now. This is clear misinformation, & cheap at that.
These fighters have simply surrendered at #Azovstal, and they are now POWs in the custody of #Russian & #DPR forces. Their is no dishonor in their surrender, it is in fact long overdue, but their is plenty of dishonor in #Ukraine's reporting of it, and much more in #CNN's.
Who will remain and refuse to surrender? That is the question. I hope Redis survives this, he strikes me as one certainly not a fan of surrendering, and tough enough to not if he has to, but he is young and likely believes he has much to live for. If these guys get through this,
we will likely see them in political office in whatever remains of #Ukraine. That is if they can get through Russian captivity without being used for Russian propaganda, following their months long abuse for Ukrainian propaganda. I just hope we don't have to listen to speeches by
Rada member Serhyi Volyna. I won't even mind Kalina or Redis, just not Serhyi. There is enough whining in the world.
