HOW DOES SUBNET CHANGE THE AVALANCHE ECOSYSTEM? (PART 1)
Since $290 million incentive for subnet development, we've seen two projects that have launched subnet, @DefiKingdoms and @PlayCrabada. Let's take a look at the achievements that these two have achieved!
A thread 🧵
1. DEFI KINGDOMS (DFK CHAIN)
1.1/ Overview: @DefiKingdoms is a #PlayToEarn game on the Harmony #Blockchain platform, the DeFi Kingdoms ecosystem is a combination of games, DEX and Liquid Pool. Up to now, DeFi Kingdoms is the TVL leading protocol of the Harmony ecosystem.
1.2/ How they run Subnet:
- Token $JEWEL was chosen as the gas fee and players only need to hold $JEWEL to pay gas fee
- DeFi Kingdoms uses $JEWEL to control gas fees and keep gas fees as low as possible so that players don't have to worry about high gas fees
- The collected gas fee will divide 25% for validators, 50% for burn, 25% for players and the community 👀
1.3/ Notable numbers DFK achieved after launched:
- After 1 day of launch, the DFK chain's TVL has reached $345M, surpassing L1 blockchains (@Cardano's TVL is $334M) and ranked 18th among EVM chains with the highest number of TVLs
👉 Check our graphic
- The daily transactions of the DFK chain reached 4,003 transactions (compared to Cardano's 4,750 transactions)
- Total daily transactions Avalanche + DFK reached 1.09 million transactions (only 100K lower than ETH)
- Very cheap transaction fees averaged at $0.0025
- Over $500M bridged to @DefiKingdoms chain through @SynapseProtocol in one day 🤩
2. CRABADA (SWIMMER NETWORK)
2.1/ Overview: @PlayCrabada is a #P2E game built on #Avalanche, which is also the largest game project on #AVAX. At one point, Crabada's transactions accounted for nearly 50% of the C-Chain network.
=> Therefore, this project decided to launch a subnet to increase the player experience. 🥰
2.2/ How they run Subnet:
- $TUS was chosen as a gas fee for the purpose of reducing gas fees by 80-85%
- The collected gas fee will divide 50% for burning (80% in the future), 40% for validators, 10% for the ecosystem
2.3/ Notable numbers after launching:
- The gas fee has decreased more than 50 times after running subnet
- After 1 month, the highest gas fee recorded was $5.4K (calculate by $TUS), while the achieved before launching the subnet was more than $600K (calculated by $ETH)
- 33 million $TUS tokens (equivalent to $500K) were burned because of the exciting in-game activities, high speed, and low gas fees. 🔥
3. CONCLUSION
With the successful launch of the @DefiKingdoms Chain, @swimmer_network, and many more to come, we have reasons to believe that the Subnet will become a significant tool for #Avalanche to expand its network and elevate projects that choose Subnet. 🔺
A thread 🧵 with insights about @dexalotcom - a revolutionary decentralized exchange aiming at bringing the traditional centralized exchange look and feel through a decentralized on-chain application.
@dexalotcom is a decentralized exchange (DEX) that uses central limit order book (CLOB). Its mission is to provide a truly inclusive and transparent environment where users can securely and efficiently trade cryptocurrencies with no slippage or custody risks.
One of the main standard practices followed by #NFT projects today is launching on expensive #Blockchain networks while also having a first-come-first-serve model for their users.
This introduces not only inefficiency in the innovative markets, but also unfairness for the participant.
JOEPEGS: THE NEW NFT MARKETPLACE FOR THE NFT ON AVALANCHE
Before the #Subnet was released, the #Avalanche ecosystem had mainly focused on the #DeFi market with the substantial rise of prominent projects such as @traderjoe_xyz (DEX), @BenqiFinance (Lending),...
A thread🧵👇
1/ Meanwhile, the term #NFT is also a topic that seems to be hot again with solid development on the @solana and @ethereum ecosystems.
In this article, we will share our perspective on the @joepegsnft project - a new NFT Marketplace platform for the #Avalanche NFT market.
The article consists of 3 main parts:
- Market opportunity of NFT Marketplace on #Avalanche
- What are @joepegsnft? The next piece completes the @traderjoe_xyz ecosystem
- Forecast for Joepegs with current NFT market
In week 23, the event most interested was Chainlink Keepers, and Chainlink VRF supported Avalanche.
Avalanche publishes the "all-in-one" tools for motivating developers to build subnets and contest with prizes of $32K for writing tutorials to launch subnets.
2. HIGHLIGHT NUMBERS
Nearly 3M new wallets +26% over the previous 3 months. It shows a good sign of the #Avax network when the market is currently terrible and unpredictable.
The launch of #Subnet on Crabada, helps the activities in-game vibrant and led to almost $171K burnt.
If you intend to hold AVAX for the long term and believe in the completion of the existing ecosystem as well as the need for subnets to thrive in the future, you've probably had to decide where to stake your AVAX.

2/ As we all know, for a Proof-of-Stake #Blockchain like @avalancheavax, consensus is achieved by validators running hardware and locking up $AVAX collateral to secure the network.
@avalancheavax's significant revenue comes from multiple resources. Besides transaction fees and running blockchain, there are other resources you can check out with our graphic below!
