1) @SecretNetwork has such an interesting value proposition when you start thinking about all the ways that no privacy can be a challenge. Just some quick takes. #cosmos#stargaze#secret
2) Public facing services like Venmo/PayPal would be great on chain but if I send you $100 you should not see my entire history that is not your business. This is a perfect example where even various stablecoin banking/payments and interest accounts would be huge.
3) Front running can be a real issue. For example if I see someone buy 5 #NFTs back to back and go to their account and see they recently loaded up on crypto they may be highly interested to buy more. I then buy up some of the floor and raise it 10-40%…
4) This is a type of front running that is pretty realistic to pull off especially if you are indifferent about holding the asset. For example for the NFT if I like the project I either get a 10-20% gain by front running them or get to keep the NFTs in a project I like.
5) So either way to an extent I win. But the individual who simply liked the project and had intentions to buy those lost out. They either now do not get them or I forced them to pay a premium.
6) This isn’t very unrealistic today I found a couple people clearly trying to buy the floors of a project and if I wanted to I could have bought the floor knowing that it was going up or I could have made a premium.
7) Both of these use cases could get worse as well. If someone associated the activity with your person they can start performing social engineering attacks or try to physically rob someone…
8) Crypto is very different then traditional banking. If someone is robbed and forced to send crypto out that is it. It is an unreversible rail (unlike things such ACH, and cards). It also cannot be intervened by a bank or any type of insurance really against this.
9) These are only very basic functions. This doesn’t count so many other use cases like watching who is trying to provide liquidity, trying to do on chain attacks against collateralized loans, front running a thinly traded asset and so on.
10) How privacy is addressed while sill creating trust and transparency is a huge hurdle that will be interesting to watch play out in crypto and one of the exciting solutions that can play into these use cases could be @SecretNetwork (end rant).

1) Today #cosmos was the main theme of the Messari research from their “unqualified opinions” here is an overview of some of the information without the premium subscription. An enterprise subscription is required to read beyond. #atom#osmo#juno#secret#evmos

Evaluating the Cosmos Chain vs L2 Decision for Investors and Builders. Decentralized exchange dYdX recently made headlines in the crypto community when it announced it was leaving the Ethereum L2 …
3) ecosystem powered by StarkWare to launch its own #Cosmos chain. #dYdX was the biggest protocol by TVL on L2 at the time of the announcement. The move prompted questions from the #Ethereum community on the long-term attractiveness of L2s for builders.
1) Now that is has been a week and we can do a look back and @LoopyLorisTribe has not said this on Twitter nor in Discord announcements here it goes. First they have announced they are not moving forward with the project see next tweet. @StargazeZone#cosmos#nft
2) Then without the privacy of say @SecretNetwork we can quickly see that the person buying them up has this address stars18jkq8aws4e53qanhyrxjstdzmp7hee6j0peh47 which now already owns 207 of their NFTs. This adresss unless a treasury is about to become a “minority shareholder”

1) Here is an overview of @IBCFrens and why we got #6 rarest IBC Fren of V2 and #15 of V1. This is not advice but why we wanted to support them and add it to the future Curious Cosmonaut Research Gallery. #cosmos#stargaze#nft
2) IBC Frens is a 2 part collection totaling 10,000 NFTs. IBC Frens aims to be a hub of information on the NFT ecosystem overall in Cosmos by building out IBCNFTS.com.
3) IBCNFTS.com has overviews of NFTs on 5 IBC chains and over 200 projects linked. Many of these projects actually applied to be on the site as well.
2) Medium can be modified and or censored. Twitter one day may be modified and or censored. The #Cosmos HUB, we believe, is one of the most resilent #blockchains in the entire industry.
3) By moving the content onto the HUB, we believe it will be permanent, immutable, censorship-resistant, recoverable, accessible anywhere, and potentially more.
🧵on all IBC connected chains in Cosmos and how we came from no #IBC to around 48 active IBC chains and 70%+ in developer growth in 2021. We explore all #Cosmos IBC chains in an easy to digest thread. Or through Medium medium.com/@cosmonautcuri…#IBCGang#ATOM@cosmos
2) #Cosmos has been having rapid growth over the last couple of years. To give a little context Inter‐Blockchain Communication protocol (#IBC) was only approved on March 29th, 2021 from governance proposal #41.
3) According to a report by Electric Capital Cosmos had a 70% growth in developers in the #Cosmos ecosystem in 2021. This will only continue to grow as Cosmos technology improves and more tools come such as EVM-based chains.
