Truss has an excellent question for Sunak on whether he still supports doing more trade with #China. Sunak now says he see the security threat as the lens through which to see this and credits Tugendhat for being early to this, but then rolls it back saying engagement is good.

Mordaunt asks Sunak why he doesn't support defence increases. Sunak says he did increases and won't set "arbitrary targets". Tugendhat kicks in that making 10,000 troops unemployed hardly helped. #ToryLeadershipDebate

Tugendhat is excellent on the Green question, the only one mentioning nuclear, which is the only realistic option for this net zero by 2050 business. #ToryLeadershipDebate
