An overview of the daily events of the war in #Ukraine. Today a new aid package from America was announced and more news came about additional aid packages from Western countries.
RIP Jonathan Tseng, volunteer who died at the front.
1/X
We start the day with #Russian losses and destroyed/captured equipment.
+840 men losses
+16 Tanks
+28 APCs
+17 Artillery systems
+8 drones
Yesterday, late evening 9 Shahed-136 drones were shot down.
Let's continue with more general events. Most important to start with is the next aid package from the #US. This package includes a lot of equipment that will serve directly on the battlefield.
Next to the initial 45 T-72 tanks, The Netherlands decided to pay for the refurbishing of another 45 tanks that will be sent to #Ukraine. According to the #Pentagon, they will have updated aiming, communication and protection systems.

➡️No map changes
➡️Fighting reported around #Bruskynske and #Kachkarivka
➡️Russian forces imposed a 24-hour curfew in occupied Kherson, unconfirmed.
➡️Pedestrian bridge in Snihurivka is confirmed destroyed.
➡️After being pushed back for several days, Russians reopened their attacks on Opytne, Bahkmuts'ke and Soledar. Fighting in Soledar is tough as Russian forces have increased shelling.
➡️South of #Bakhmut is under control. East of Opytne is the frontline.
➡️Remember what i said about the #Pavlivka "offensive"? Today Russian sources confirm that their forces retreated south of Pavlivka. They took a heavy beating after Ukraine got reinforced. Especially the Russian 155th Marine Infantry Brigade was crushed.
➡️Russians were seen dragging their damaged tank in the area of Maryinka. They have been trying to capture #Maryinka for the ninth month now.
In all this time, they have advanced 2 kilometers.
➡️No map changes
➡️AFU forces were seen just out of #Ploshchanka, ambushing a Russian tank from close range. Geolocated 49.20107, 38.0604
➡️In the city of #Kreminna locals describe the situation as tense. Nobody is allowed to leave, there is no gas. Shops are looted
➡️Russian sources claim they have lost #Berestove to the AFU. This town was already in the hands of the AFU and was heavily shelled the last 6-7 days by Russia.
➡️Russia's claim of capturing #Makiivka and #Novovodyane could not be visually confirmed.
As usual, we start with daily losses and captured Russian material.
+600 personnel
+8 tanks
+21 APCs
+12 UAVs
These are most noticable.
General Staff reported that two Ka-52 were shot down today, as well an Merlin UAV which has already been factored into the overall numbers in the previous tweet.
Locals from #Kherson report that Russian forces have abandoned checkpoints in Chornobaivka, Stepanivka, Bilozerka and Korabelnyi district south of the Kosheva river.
This adds up to earlier reports of locals reporting the same.
An overview of daily events in #Ukraine. No detailed look at the front lines today as nothing has changed. But as i have stated today, things might change the upcoming days..
1/X
We start with #Russian losses. What is striking is that in recent days (it seems that this is related to the increased number of Russians mobilized at the front) the number of casualties in men has been continuously above 650.
Meatgrinder coming into effect
During the night 12 out of 13 enemy shahed-136 drones were shot down. Just before i wrote this SitRep another wave of Drone attacks was reported. Probably tomorrow we will know the results.
Last week i received unconf. reports of 🇷🇺brigades being informed about preparations for a retreat to the left bank of the Dnipr, beginning no later then 6th of November. For me those reports were too vague at that time which i couldn't confirm and it was a single source of truth
But something has changed. In line with those early reports, the last couple of days pro-Russian accounts start sharing messages that 'worrying/bad' news is coming in the next days. Which could hint towards the start of a gradual military retreat from the right bank.
Now, this doesn't confirm anything yet, but it adds up to all the preparations that have been made by the Russians the last couple of weeks:
➡️Inhabitants forcibly evacuated
➡️Administration relocated
➡️Medical/Pharmaceutical supplies taken out
➡️Buses seized, transport stopped
