For the past two days, #Russian President Vladimir #Putin has been discussing an idea, which he passes off as his own, of course, how to "drain" the negative relatively painlessly if "significant territorial concessions" have to be made to freeze the conflict in #Ukraine. 1/8
The idea belongs to Yuri Kovalchuk and goes as follows: to support Yevgeny #Prigozhin’s self-promotion as much as possible and help him organize (with the participation and under the control of the Presidential Administration) a political party or movement. 2/8
This party should involve the maximum number of socially significant ultra-patriots and be stuffed with agents. #Prigozhin should be put at the head, and Strelkov-Girkin should be his deputy. Even seats in the parliament are promised after early elections next year. 3/8
If #Putin has the opportunity to reach a "compromise" with the West-#Ukraine to freeze the conflict, or possibly a peace agreement, and there is a need to leave part of the occupied territories, then #Prigozhin will take over the unrest in the ultra-patriotic sector. 4/8
He will explain the leader’s "cunning" plan by citing the possibility of gaining strength and preparing for "delivery a decisive victorious blow ... at some point in the future." 5/8
If there are opponents in the new political force, then they will be declared traitors and provocateurs with corresponding consequences. The idea is rather crude, but the President liked it so much that he managed to enlist the support of #Patrushev, Bortnikov, and Kiriyenko. 6/8
Even #Prigozhin agreed in principle, not knowing all the details, though. #Putin instructed Sergei Kiriyenko, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the #RussianFederation, to think over everything and present working options for discussion by November 10. 7/8
It is not yet very clear whether this idea will be implemented, but the haste with which #Putin approaches the study of its implementation speaks of a catastrophic situation for the President, from which he is frantically looking for a way out. 8/8

Dear subscribers and guests of the channel! After eight and a half months of the war, #Russian President Vladimir #Putin and #Ukrainian President Volodymyr #Zelensky changed their minds diametrically about the possibility of ending the conflict through negotiations.
1/12
Now, #Putin wants negotiations so strongly that today, at least 20 trusted people, at the initiative of the President of #Russia, on different platforms and in different formats, are trying to find an opportunity, if not to end the war and reach a peace treaty, then...
2/12
at least to freeze the conflict by ending military operations with some acquisitions for #Russia, which #Putin can sell as a victory. This is the first time such a large number of people are involved in behind-the-scenes negotiations to try to find a solution to one issue.

Dear subscribers and guests of the channel! The other day, #Russian President Vladimir #Putin held a meeting via video call with the leadership of the security bloc. The meeting was initiated by the Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Nikolai #Patrushev.
1/11
The topic of discussion was the growing ambitions of the curator of the main PMC. Evgeny #Prigozhin sees himself on the political Olympus of #Russia. He is currently running a fairly successful PR campaign to shape and promote his own career as a politician.
2/11
#Prigozhin makes films, opens centers, gives interviews where he shares his vision of the situation not only at the front but also in #Russia and the world, gives advice to the President, and forces #Putin to make personnel decisions.

Dear subscribers and guests of the channel! Yesterday #Russian President Vladimir #Putin was presented with a report compiled by a group of experts under the Russian Security Council. The report provides a detailed analysis of the current situation in the Russian economy. 1/8
Also, the report contains a forecast for the next two years based on the fixed status quo as of October 31 2022. Experts, among other things, point to a high probability of a food crisis in #Russia in 2024 amid rising poverty and falling real incomes of the population. 2/8
The pace of the fall, according to the forecast, is much faster than that from the Ministry of Economy. The situation for #Russian agriculture in 2024 is called critical, and the lack of agricultural products can cause civil unrest. 3/8
Dear subscribers and guests of the channel! #Russian President Vladimir #Putin has decided to temporarily remove Colonel-General Alexander Lapin from command of the #RussianArmy Group "Center" at the front in #Ukraine after a conversation with Yevgeny #Prigozhin.
1/13
During his conversation with the President, #Prigozhin urged "to get Lapin the fuck away", citing numerous arguments. We must say that lately, Prigozhin has been communicating with #Putin almost on an equal footing.
2/13
The positions of the head of PMCs have been growing since the beginning of the "special operation", and now, when PMCs are fighting more effectively than the regular army, and the representation of PMCs at the front has exceeded 30,000 people, #Putin recognizes...

Dear subscribers and guests of the channel! Despite the impressive announcements and laudatory odes, the speech of #Russian President Vladimir #Putin at #Valdai, contrary to Peskov's assurances, will be forgotten today or tomorrow. 1/9
#Putin described his speech as "an opportunity to wag the tongue." The topic of "negotiations" run through the President's speech. Putin longs to have negotiations and end this phase of the war on terms he can sell as victory. 2/9
The minimum he agrees to is #Donbas and a corridor to #Crimea. By appealing to the "Washington bosses" who should give thumbs up to #Zelensky and force him to peace on the terms of the #Russian President, #Putin misses an important point. 3/9
Dear subscribers and guests of the channel! Yesterday, #Russian President #Putin held a bizarre exercise called "strategic deterrence training." Under the strict control of the leader, launches of ballistic and cruise missiles from the air, sea and land took place.
1/11
The rockets took off in unison and even seemed to have flown where they should. The demonstration of the capabilities of #Russian ballistic and cruise missiles to fly far and to hit targets did not raise any special doubts from anyone and, of course, did not frighten anyone.
2/11
External observers & the #Russian leadership have doubts about the possibility of using nuclear weapons. Nuclear weapons tests initiated by the President have failed. Now, they're frantically trying to determine the cause & even managed to schedule new tests for next week.
