An overview of the daily events of the war between Russia and Ukraine. It seems that Ukraine is trying to -successfully- freeze the fronts (#Bakhmut and #Donetsk axis) and is preparing for an offensive

We start with daily #Russian losses, captured and/or destroyed equipment.

+530 personnel
+6 tanks
+19 APCs

The loss of personnel is mainly attributable to the front in #Bakhmut where up to 100 soldiers are killed every day. This is confirmed by Colonel Serhiy Cherevaty of the Ukrainian army's eastern command

In the eastern (#Svatove) area a group of Russian mobilized soldiers were captured. We count at least 23 men.

In the settlement of #Lysychansk, a unit of the Akhmat battalion was attacked. The occupiers lost more than 30 (killed) and up to 15 wounded.

Command room 'South' reported that they shot down an enemy Su-25 fighter jet this morning over #Kherson region.

Now let's head to the general events. Starting with great and big news. New airdefense systems arrived in Ukraine. Norwegian #NASAMS and Spanish #Aspide batteries. These are very necessary against the cruise- and drone attacks.

A loop appeared on the monument to Oleksandr Suvorov in #Odesa. There were already preparations the last couple of days to remove this statue that referred to the former Russian general in service of the Russian Empire.

To the fronts, #Kherson

➡️No map changes. I extended the map further west for a better/broader view of the region.
➡️AFU attacked Nova #Kakhovka with missile strikes
➡️Russians report that today is the last day the crossing for "evacuation" to the left bank of the Dnipr is open

➡️Trolleybus wires were cut in different parts of #Kherson city. But this is definitely not the result of bombing.
➡️Propaganda broadcasting disappeared in occupied Kherson and Ukrainian radio returned.
➡️No shelling reported by General Staff

#Kupyans-#Svatove

➡️Lots of shelling on the frontline north of #Svatove
➡️There are unconfirmed reports that the AFU has gained a foothold in Pidkuichans'k by pushing east of Kolomyichykha. Waiting confirmation
➡️A group of at least 23 Russian soldiers captured near the front

#Kreminna

➡️Relatively quiet day at this front.
➡️Russian shelling recorded in Nevske and Serebryanka
➡️Ploshchanka area is still unconfirmed, we are waiting for more info on what the AFU presence is. We expect the town is under AFU control.

#Bakhmut

➡️🇷🇺 sources claim that the 6th Cossack Regiment, together with Wagner PMC units, entered #Bilohorivka. We are waiting for confirmation.
➡️We have no confirmation of yesterdays claim by Russia that they captured Ivangrad.
➡️Russian shelling increased along the front.

#Vuhledar-#Pavlivka

➡️No changes on this front
➡️Russian still shelling #Vuhledar frontline very intensively
➡️A lot of footage came out today, confirming the Russian failure near #Pavlivka. Some Russian sources even claim the casualties are higher then initial 300 communicated
