SitRep - 30/11 - Look who's there

Daily overview of events in the war between #Russia and #Ukraine. With today a tour along the front lines where there is heavy fighting in Bakhmut, and there are signals that something is imminent in the east.

As usual we start with #Russian losses reported by the General Staff of #Ukraine. We also include captured Russian (heavy) equipment, and visually confirmed losses.

+1 artillery system
+7 UAVs (probing prior to missile strikes?)

In #Bryansk, Russia a fuel depot was lightened up. It was said a Ukrainian drone hit the particular area, but i can't rule out it's because of prohibited smoking again.

Also firework activities in #Volgograd, Russia.

Destroyed #Russian tank T-72B3

CHP-9 in #Perm caught fire. Very mysterious smoke near the Thermal power station in the Russian city. This powerplant has a generating capacity of 435mw which equals electricity consumption of somewhere between 200.000-250.000 households.

Overnight the #AFU hit a #Russian power supply facility in the #Kursk region. #Sudzhansky and #Korenevsky districts are without power after 11 projectiles hit the facility.

It is reported that overnight around 01:30 AM, the AFU struck a railway substation near the village of #Faschivka, Luhansk region. The damage is unknown yet.

The #German government provided short-term financial assistance for the repair of energy infrastructure in the amount of about 56 million euros and sent more than 350 industrial power generators.

An explosion occurred at the Ukrainian Embassy in #Madrid, one employee was injured, Spanish media write

According to preliminary information, one of the employees of the diplomatic department opened an envelope, which contained a small explosive device.

He is hospitalized.

To the frontlines, #Kherson

▶️No map changes.
▶️Still operational silence around the #Kinburn Spit area.
▶️Russia keeps shelling civilian area's in #Kherson city, mainly around the coastal line.
▶️AFU hit #Skadovsk with HIMARS missiles.

#Bakhmut

▶️It is likely that Russia gained ground south of #Bakhmut, but we still have no visual confirmation.
▶️AFU counterattacked around Opytne, pushing back Russian forces a couple hundred meters
▶️AFU reinforcements+heavy equipment reached Chasiv-Yar area and the frontline

#Kreminna

▶️Russian sources report that the AFU has now been spotted 5-6 km west of #Zhytlivka.
▶️Unconfirmed reports that the AFU has approached #Holykove and is very close to the town. Fighting around P66 ongoing, not captured yet.
▶️Fighting south of #Kreminna continues.

#Kupyansk

▶️Igor Girkin alias Strelkov has shown up. He is reportedly in the #Svatove area. Soon a one-way-ticket to The Hague, crook!
▶️Artillery duels ongoing south of #Svatove near Popivka.
▶️Fighting near Kuzemivka decreased. AFU waits for more favorable conditions.

#Donetsk-#Pavlivka-#Vuhledar

▶️Russian reportedly preparing another attack on #Pavlivka.
▶️In #Maryinka, fighting has reached the city centre. Russia controls the eastern and southern parts of the city/outskirts. AFU is in full defense.

Something is brewing west of Pavlivka 😎
