Why am I looking forward to #HatomStaked $EGLD, aka $HsEGLD? Well, it's a supercharged way to secure the @MultiversX Network and participate in DeFi. @HatomProtocol will build multiple DeFi primitives to kick off the next adoption wave. ⚡️🧠🧵
Wen $HsEGLD? First, @HatomProtocol needs to establish a secure & robust liquid staking mechanism on @MultiversX. They are working with the core team & @rv_inc on this development. $sEGLD will be the Universal Liquid Staked $EGLD.
@HatomProtocol's dApp is currently in development/testing on Devnet. Liquid staking testing will be made available when it is ready. The team is targeting Q1 2023, but the products must be released in the right sequence and have top quality/function.
Liquid staking code will be made public in due time. The model fairly distributes liquidity among all validators, making the blockchain more decentralized while guaranteeing a good APY. The vision is to have one universal $sEGLD used among all DeFi Apps.
[3]
Revenue generated from Hatom's liquid staking will be distributed into the $sEGLD money market on the lending protocol, increasing supplier yields; supply it to the money market for additional yields and use it as collateral for loans, opening up new DeFi opportunities.
The goal is to create a universal $sEGLD to push forward the interoperability between DeFi Apps in MultiversX. In addition to that, decentralize the network via validators.
[5]
Security is a top priority; any product launched will perform multiple security audits and risk assessments, pen testing, DevSecOps, and formal verification. @HatomProtocol will be the most audited project on @MultiversX.
The Safety Module acts as insurance. Users can deposit various assets & earn safety incentives. In case of an unfortunate shortfall event, a portion of the staked liquidity can be used to cover the deficit.
Over-collateralized lending protocols are the most complex product in DeFi. SC development, real-time collateral management, $LINK price feeds, liquidity provisions, risks management, controller, indexer, and lastly, liquidity. An ambitious project for #Hatom to build.

Incredible 🔥 alpha dropped. Valuable insight into product development & strategy. A few personal notes from the recent spaces w/ @beniaminmincu. Everything rises and falls on leadership; @MultiversX is in good hands. 📚😎
Understanding MultiversX is understanding that #Elrond built one of the most exciting blockchain architectures. A first principle design means you can't just copy the EVM. After extensive research & thinking deeply, the conclusion becomes evident that there is an opportunity. [1]
An opportunity for a larger expansion to everything that #ElrondNetwork was. This is a #Multiverse to the power of X. An elegant positioning between the physical world and the #metaverse. The complete vision was unveiled at xday.com. [2]
.@MultiversX is a better base layer for the global economy than #Ethereum. Why? Because #MultiversX has robust primitives to build upon. Let's take one example with token standards: ESDT vs. ERC-20. 📚🧵
Anyone holding a large amount of $ETH would violently disagree; technically speaking, this is quite objective if we want crypto to grow. ESDT, with the transition to #MultiversX, is now eStandard Digital Tokens.
[1]
Besides fragmented scaling or lack of it, ERC-20 token smart contracts have been the root of wallets inadvertently being drained. Because of #MultiversX accounts and ESDT (native assets), no smart code needs to be executed dealing with tokens.
I post different thoughts, opinions, and insights captured from various sources. As a rule of thumb, don't take investment action based on someone's tweets. Do seek insight from Linn however regarding risks taking & management. Some of her past bangers:
Soon billions in TVL will be secured w/ @rustlang smart contracts on @MultiversX. Blockchain is a layer of trust built over the Internet. How do we trust & assess the security of DeFi protocols being built? It starts with leadership & a solid foundation. @rv_inc 🧠⚒️
🧵🪡
1) The heart of the blockchain protocol security was set with the VM and SC framework design. Nobody better than @andreimmarinica to shed a bit more light.
2) @andreimmarinica continues elaborating on his thoughts in a colorful presentation from xday.com.
The most exciting part of crypto is the subtle insight that #Ethereum EVM ERC-20 ERC-721 ERC-1155 EIP-1559 Beacon Chain & Solidity represent the initial conclusions of smart contract blockchain experimentation. At the same time, these primitives can be reimagined & expanded upon.
Whether #Cardano, #Polkadot, #Cosmos, or #MultiversX, there is plenty of room for builders to continue to experiment and move beyond the conventional understanding of a smart contract blockchain.
If scaling #Ethereum EVM & fixing poor UX was the only problem. Might as well allocate to $ETH & do something else.
The evolution & transformation of #Elrond to @MultiversX; some people have been critical or misunderstood the vision. Here is my take on why it's a more robust and expansive strategy than the original #Elrond#DeFi 2.0: The Era Of Autonomous Banking.
1) @beniaminmincu states, "for blockchain to become the fundamental settlement layer for the global economy, it must meet specific necessary criteria: (i) It must be able to operate at internet scale, (ii) it must be globally accessible, (iii) and it must offer simple enough UX."
2) Now, with a solid foundation. How has the vision of DeFi 2.0 progressed? Initially, Swaps, NFTs, Lending, Bridges, Stablecoins, Synthetics, ESDT, and Launchpads have become much more.
