with different epistemologies, ways of knowing, ontologies, understandings of nature and human existence, and axiologies, values, value judgements, and ethics.
Using #art to demonstrate that even working within one knowledge system has translation issues when shifting mediums from drawing to speaking or reading. The drawing demonstrated that objectivity is in fact a myth, having scientists all draw the same thing can demonstrate that.
How can we #slowdown to #learn to #unlearn to #relearn and #decolonize ourselves to break down the barriers between knowledge systems and understand one another?
In an Indigenous perspective, we should have solidarity with one another as relatives. An Indigenous relational perspectives sees connectedness with all people and all things.
We need the curiosity of children, the openness, the willingness, and the desire to know more and learn and connect and to feel safe with one another, not that our lifetime knowledge systems are being challenged, but to be open.
