#cdnpoli @PierrePoilivere is the 4th lame duck CPC leader in 7 years with nothing to quack but a "secret" plan to sell us down the river like Harper did. He cannot expand on CPC's "hopeful" polices and how they would better benefit Canadian's health as they can't be found.

1/2 Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) and Mental Illness Right now, people whose sole medical condition is #mentalillness are not eligible for #MAiD in Canada. Any person who requests MAiD must be assessed by two healthcare practitioners (medical doctor or nurse practitioner)
2/2 to determine if they meet all the criteria, including if their illness is grievous and irremediable. In situations where a person is not at the end of life, one of the healthcare practitioners must be a specialist in the condition that is causing intolerable suffering.
Informed Canadians have not forgotten the CPC vote consistently against all social policies. CPC policy does not support MAiD so why is @PierrePoilivere quacking otherwise?
