Croydon Scrutiny concluded tonight that TFL's Fiveways proposal fails to protect cyclists on North/South trips on the Purley Way.
It is clear that @Tfl should include in its proposed land purchases under CPO, that it includes a small part of the Morrisons's frontage.
Residents, cyclists, and @waddon councillors all agree the current @Tfl's proposals will end up with cyclists using footpaths.
My view is @TfL presentation tonight fails to understand the true nature of this section of A23. It's both a main route + also a local road.
This section of A23 is a local road, and the proposals need to reflect this fact. Separates cycle lanes from Epsom Rd southward is required.

Following its first review of SA, the UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights has called on the government to review its fiscal policies in order for the country to meet its human rights obligations and achieve greater levels of economic redistribution.
Citing “unacceptably high levels of ...inequalities” persisting since apartheid,the Comm said inadequate “personal &corporate income taxes, capital gains &transaction taxes, inheritance tax, &property tax, dont enable [SA]to mobilize the resources required to reduce inequalities”

and report it to John Trayner MD @TheGoAheadGroup London cc'ing TfL's Bus Bosses, @willnorman @CarolineRussell (of @LondonAssembly) @StopKillingCycl & me. The only way to ensure TfL & CityHall don't just #CoverUp for TfL Contractors' #SafetyFail is to shine a light on it.
In my experience, it's clear that TfL => Trade Association set up to protect its Bus & Tram Contractors instead of regulating their Safety Performance. Read @CarolinePidgeon's & @KeithPrinceAM's MQTs sometime & you'll see how far City Hall & TfL go to protect them from #Scrutiny

A tremendously popular piece of advice is "look at other peoples software to help you learn how to code" but the way modern code works, you can't do that.
Let me explain: If you wanted to figure out how, say, Doom worked, the source code is NOT HARD. There's. Like. v_game.c, and you can open it and read it and there's code that does something.
