The economic benefit of the EU comes from making rules & trade policy together so trade within the EU is cheaper and so we have more negotiating leverage in global trade.
Keeping those benefits outside the EU just means we're no longer making the rules, just following them.

If we don't follow those rules, that makes continental trade more expensive FOR US. Even businesses who don't export: They and their staff all rely on EU products being as cheap as possible.
Who voted to give EU-based companies an advantage over British ones?

Now, once we've admitted that we're putting ourselves at a competitive disadvantage on our own continent, the only question is:
Can trade with the rest of the world replace trade lost closer to home?

🎬 Thread sur les plans-séquences (ou très longs plans) les plus géniaux (du moins selon moi) du cinéma - avec parfois petit commentaire pour justifier le choix de mise en scène.
(et je préviendrais si les séquences me semblent trop violentes et que donc faut faire attention)
La Soif du mal de Orson Welles.
C'est un peu le papa des plans séquence. J'ai jamais vu le film et pourtant j'ai vu mille fois ce plan !
Le tout est de mettre en avant l'attente avant l'explosion, sans triche, et installer la peur soudain dans le quotidien sans artifice.

Ce plan me bouleverse à chaque fois.
Ici le plan séquence sert vraiment à montrer l'étendue du désastre à quel point c'est grand, ça inclut plein de gens et ça n'en finit pas de s'agiter. La musique, les mouvements, McAvoy, tout est parfait.
