To believe that 27 countries need us more than we need them, knowing that Germany alone has a larger GDP and that their combined GDP is 5 times ours, one must believe that Brits are inherently better than other people.

I'm going to keep arguing like this and I'm not sorry.
I will point out that immigration culturally, economically and medically enriches our society. But I won't convince everyone in 4 months. So for those who only see it as a negative, I'll point out the EU's safeguards on that.
There are those whose principles prevent them from taking a two-pronged approach and I respect that (even if one such person did call me "disgraceful" for my approach today) but for me I have one priority: Preventing something which would in fact do FAR more harm to EU citizens.
I was sat there on @BBCPolitics #PoliticsLive surrounded by politicians all treating Free Movement as a big problem completely unchallenged until I set them all straight. As I've done with Farage, and repeatedly across news and social media.

The economic benefit of the EU comes from making rules & trade policy together so trade within the EU is cheaper and so we have more negotiating leverage in global trade.
Keeping those benefits outside the EU just means we're no longer making the rules, just following them.

If we don't follow those rules, that makes continental trade more expensive FOR US. Even businesses who don't export: They and their staff all rely on EU products being as cheap as possible.
Who voted to give EU-based companies an advantage over British ones?

I realized you don't need to be completely financially free to be happy.

Thethe major turning point would be when you can start scheduling your work around your fun, rather than your fun around your work.

That's usually a huge milestone if you can accomplish that.
I was never financially free, but in 2012-2014, I basically worked whenever I wanted, wherever I wanted, and not by selling labor, but selling capital.

Worked out to be 1-2 hours a day.

Some days I worked 8 hours, many others I worked 0.

Still had a good income, saved a lot.
And that was the happiest time of my life. In fact, 2012 was the happiest year of my life.

I was young. I didn't need to work. I lived alone. I was still sexually curious. I went clubbing a few times a week. I traveled every other month.

And my income was increasing each month.

Good morning Tweeps. Up since 5 am. Felt the urge to go do some work. Actually went downstairs and almost stepped into my office then forced myself to return to bed even if to just lie in bed. Trying to resist this overworking.
The other day I felt really exhausted, then of course decided to do more work and...I swear, I felt better after a couple of hours, this is when it really hit me, the overstimulation is getting out of hand.
I really can’t wait for December where I hope this lifestyle is coming to an end & I can return to *normal* functionning before I do myself some damage.

Aside from that who’s appreciating a more balanced existence?

I didn’t want to write this article. But then, I didn’t want to be a position of having to always fight for the rights of officers with disabilities at the CIA either. To be clear, the CIA put me in that position of having to speak out, even after I left. (2)
I simply wanted to be able to do my job and have equal access to opportunities, and for others to have the same. And I was damn good at my job. I loved doing it. I believed in what I was doing there & my work made our country a little bit safer. (3)
