I am an immigration & estate planning attorney as well as a 15-year social justice and civil rights activist all over Arizona. During last year's election, I became increasingly upset by the attacks on women & minority groups. It was filtering down to the local elections 1/
and our elected leaders weren't holding their colleagues accountable, weren't correcting the rhetoric attacking their own constituents. I knew I had the backbone, thick-skin, and passion to bring about the conversations we need to have so we can decide who we are as a country 2/
and what direction we want to go in the future. We are at a crossroads. I chose to run because I bring a unique view to politics: inclusiveness, bipartisanship & problem-solving should be required, not rare. #
