nice to hear a member of the planning commission advise the rest of the members to say “resident” not “citizen” — not everyone who lives here is a citizen!

this meeting is to plan the format of future meetings. which circle of hell is this?
i’ve never been so grateful to have a budget meeting to get to — only gonna be able to hear half of this thrilling proceeding.

glad to see they’re considering adding the funding for the youth internship programming. wtf is the proposed $517 for the public defender’s office? what’s five hundred seventeen bucks gonna do?!

oh noooo this is a public forum. i didn’t notice that on the calendar. a woman is reading a statement she read at the last council meeting.

cityspace is a great space for a meeting, but they didn’t arrange for mics to be passed around during public comment. i can’t hear a thing.
i know this space can accommodate that — the housing conference, league of women voters events, and others have done it. 🤷‍♀️🔇

the ymca parents are back! good god, just give them their funding. it’s obviously a good program.

wait they’re only asking for $40,000? come on.
they operate 6:30am-6pm & serve over 100 families providing affordable childcare at the jefferson school. just shake out the couch cushions and help them out.
