Śrāddha karya's are rituals that are performed for the departed ancestors. This is usually done twice a year and tarpana on every amāvāsyā. Another period of śrāddha is during Pitru Paksha. While sāṃvatsara śrāddha is done for a specific ancestor (father, mother, etc), the Pitru Paksha is done for all elders who have passed away.

This maps to the Brahma Randhra or Vishnu nAbhi. If Gandanta signifies creation, then destruction must have happened prior to the Gandanta point(s).

Karmic punishment can get triggered via number 7. Be aware of ketu's power to destroy rajas (Mercury and Venus). Propitiate Ganapati. It is noticeable that the house Ketu is posted is usually a high pressure area of your life. You tend to take up much stress in that area of life.
