In fact the airline has refused to disclose the incident citing privacy laws.1/4 I talked to 2 passengers who were on the same flight to verify the incident. One of them, an industrialist, was in the 1st class & the other, a hotelier from Rajasthan, was in business class. Both told me that Mann had fallen down on the first seat after entering the aircraft.2/4

Strongly opposed the 3 agriculture-related Bills in #LokSabha, as they will sound death knell for 20 lakh farmers, 3 lakh ‘mandi’ labourers, 30 lakh khet mazdoor & 30,000 ‘arhatiyas’ besides destroying food grain procurement system established over 50 years.

We have now made public the probe report by SC welfare principal secy which clearly pins SC welfare minister Sadhu Singh Dharamsot. If even now, CM doesn’t sack & arrest Dharamsot, it will be taken that the entire Cong party is a ‘bhagidar’ in this crime against #Dalit students. The probe reveals that #Dharamsot engineered the Rs 63 CR scam & the officer also gave evidence that the minister took away powers of the dept director to disburse payment by passing an order & began releasing payments on his signatures in a selective manner.

Pb CM should consider it a warning against compromising on State's principled stand on Riparian Principle regarding river waters. SYL issue stands closed forever after SAD-led govt returned acquired land to original owners. Punjabis & SAD will never allow this canal to be built. .@capt_amarinder's arguments in yesterday’s meeting with Haryana CM were shocking. Neither is Punjab obliged to part with its river waters to non-riparian states nor does #Punjab have a single drop of water to spare for other states. This has been our consistent position based on practical & legal considerations. So there is no question of Pb constructing #SYL. Allegations that @Akali_Dal_ govt in Punjab was being unreasonable in not giving water to "younger brother' #Haryana, despite Punjab having excess water are rubbish. If #Punjab has excess water, why would we not share it with our neighbouring state?

.@Akali_Dal_ urges the GoI to give bonus on #wheat MSP besides sending a team to inquire into misappropriation & embezzlement of #food material despatched to Punjab. Resolutions to this effect were passed at a meeting of the party's core committee held through video conferencing. The core committee demanded Punjab govt to remove the glut in 'mandis' by lifting wheat and helping those in crisis through direct cash transfers and waiver of electricity bills and also announce bonus to offset the losses being suffered by farmers in this hour of crisis.

The denial of cremation to the mortal remains of Hazoori Raagi Bhai Nirmal Singh Khalsa Ji at Verka caused deep resentment in the minds of the #Sikh community and the Punjab govt must take immediate steps to assuage the sentiments of the community. 1/4 I strongly condemn Punjab govt for taking no action against the #Congress councilor & others who had locked the cremation ground at #Verka yesterday and also the officials who failed to ensure the last rites of Bhai Nirmal Singh Khalsa Ji were conducted in a befitting manner. 2/4

I urge chief minister @capt_amarinder to bring changes in the #wheat procurement process so that farmers go to ‘mandis’ in batches besides taking urgent steps to restore the food supply chain in Punjab to save lakhs of poor from the pangs of hunger. /1
