Do any of you remember the first time you answered your parents or caregivers back? Or stood up for yourself when you were being unfairly treated by them?
Remember the guts it took to do that? You didn't die. This is why you're reading this tweet
We're back there!
You are going to have to decide what #COVID19 stressors you are willing to deal with
If your Mom insists on going to church and you cannot guarantee that #COVID19 precautions are going to be adhered to, then you are going to have to put your foot down and ensure she doesn't go
Christian: "no COVID19 formed against me shall prosper"
Same Christian gets infected
Christian: "I am healed by His stripes"
Same Christian succumbs to the virus
Church: "God gives and God takes away"
Do you guys have any idea what's happening behind-the-scenes?
The medical fraternity is bracing itself for the worst
We don't know what to expect but we are trying to prepare
The whole world has been asked to #StaySafeStayHome but NO. Some Christians are special I guess ☹️

Effort is everything
There is something special about someone trying.
Maybe I asked for a pair of #Tiffany studs for Christmas, but I get a pair of #Swarovski earrings instead ----> I'd still be happy because of the effort that was made
A person that cares makes an effort...
Some of you are in relationships where most of the effort comes from you
If you don't call, there is no talking
If you don't message, there is no messaging
If you don't suggest an outing, there is no going out
If you choose a plan that locks you into a network, this is what it means
• you go to the doctors on the list from your medical aid
• you go to the hospitals on the list from your medical aid

You are truly blessed if you are living well on one source of income

.@GrowGreatZA has written a very insightful op-ed on expanding the child support grant to include pregnant women.
Read the article here for yourself bit.ly/2IALQS7 and tell me what you think.
I’ll share why I think it’s a great idea #Thread#PregnancyGrant
Pregnancy simultaneously reduces a woman’s income-generating potential and brings with it several financial responsibilities. This is more so in SA where only a quarter of the 1.2 million pregnant women annually have any source of income. #PregnancyGrant

Is a toilet seat a mode of transmission for an #STI Sexually Transmitted Infection?
No
Is a #UTI Urinary Tract Infection caused by sitting on a toilet seat?
No
The idea that one can get infected by organisms that "jump" from a toilet seat into your body is a myth
What is an #STI Sexually Transmitted Infection?
• infection that is transmitted via condomless sexual contact or close sexual contact
• transmitted via bodily fluids ---> blood, vaginal fluids, semen
• close sexual contact ---> skin-to-skin e.g. pubic lice/genital warts
Can we have a serious discussion about something?
The main reason I am hustling hard - apart from wanting to fly Emirates Business Class - is because I really want to travel the world with the #Caramellos
Manie asked me something the other day
"Mom, are all people that clean houses and schools brown like you?"

When I started chronic medication for #depression , I was started on:
• Fluoxetine/ Prozac : antidepressant
• Clobazam/ Urbanol : anti-anxiolytic
• Trazodone : antidepressant
• Lamotrigine/ Epitec : mood stabiliser
• Loprazolam/ Dormonoct : sleeping tablet
The cocktail of medication you're started on will depend on the severity of your #depression . Your psychiatrist and psychologist monitor side-effects and response to medication closely and make the necessary adjustments.
#SizeDoesNotMatter
This is a common sight in some parts of Johannesburg. Adverts claiming to assist with "penis enlargement".

Many people are living with #depression and are not aware of it.
"I know that something is wrong but I'm not sure what it is"
"I think I'm just tired. I should be fine after a short holiday"
They continue through life on auto-pilot
Then you get the people that are living with #depression and are fully aware of it BUT have chosen to deal with it in their own way
"I know exactly what the problem is but I'm not going to see a psychiatrist/psychologist"
"I'm going to pray about it"

Marinus told his mom about me. He made it clear that we were courting - he had already given me a promise ring - and that we would be getting married in 2004.
I told my mom about Marinus.
They were both very shocked. It was 2001 and everyone had 3 years to sort themselves out
Marinus' brothers are cool. He is the third born of four boys. There was obviously that initial shock and then everything was okay.
There was however one person who was not happy with the latest developments - farmer cousin from #Marikana ...

I'm going to do a thread about this cake. If after this thread, you still continue to eat this cake at least you're making an informed decision.
This cake is eaten to "help" with the relief of mild to moderate pain caused by headaches, toothache, colds and flu.
It has other "uses" such as curing hangovers, alleviating period pain, relieving toothache and stress.
Ingredients of the cake: aspirin, paracetamol and caffeine
