THREAD - This week @piersmorgan has been very vocal about righting the wrongs of Britain’s colonial past.

Ergo isn’t it only fair he also apologises for his ancestors’ involvement? Shouldn’t he take a knee on @GMB tomorrow & ask for forgiveness? Have a look and decide ⬇️ /1
Here are a few of Piers’ ancestors on his maternal grandmother’s side (note Piers was born O’Meara). We’ll concentrate on the red boxes. /2
Piers’ GGGFather Bernard worked for the East India Company in Bengal & Burma. The EIC was one of the main organs of British empire building & notorious for its role in the slave trade ⬇️ /3

THREAD - #EuropeDay

To celebrate what should be more appropriately called #EUDay I want to pass on the best wishes of some of Europe’s most prominent politicians over the years
I especially dedicate this to all my 🔶🕷🇪🇺🥀🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇮🇪 & #FBPE friends. 👇 /1

With The Corbyn Experiment ending on Saturday it’s worth looking at what he is leaving behind & how/where it happened

In 12 charts I have plotted Labour’s GE performance & other things between 1918-2019

#TheRiseAndFallofLabourInCharts #LabourLeadershipElection

I’m adding here some people who may find this of interest

@Keir_Starmer @RLong_Bailey @lisanandy @PeoplesMomentum @UKLabour @jeremycorbyn

And others who will most likely care about it

Chart #1

This shows the deficit between Labour’s vote share in GE2019 in all regions of Great Britain versus the best they have ever done in all GEs since 1918. Unsurprisingly the only close correlation is in London. What happened?

This is a brilliant article from @MaxPemberton
Much of what he says about how the #NHS has miraculously transformed overnight confirms what many have been saying for years. It’s a salutary lesson & proves anything is possible in a crisis.
"What doctors like me have witnessed over the past days and weeks is nothing short of extraordinary. A major incident was declared and within hours emergency plans had swung into action profoundly changing the way hospitals and services were run" /2
"I have my criticisms of the NHS but its behaviour now is a wonder to behold. Decisions that used to take months or even years because of endless pointless form filling and meetings are now made in less time than it takes to boil a kettle" /3

For a laugh I bought the @TheNewEuropean Special Edition titled "What Comes After Remain?"
It’s a bird’s eye view into the hearts & minds of the cultist #FBPE & many of the usual suspects are featured. It really is no wonder they seem to be permanently suicidal /1
Front page. I like Repent. They should definitely Repent /2
Do you think this might be deemed offensive by some passport controllers? They are a pretty serious bunch. /3

This is my seat by seat guide to which party should stand where

I will add high priority seats first where the #BrexitAlliance is not the incumbent but the constituency voted to Leave. I will then add the rest

The cynicism of Remain is well known. Here’s a classic example

Arch Remainer @BrunoAm05317727 puts up a 2nd Ref poll asking whether we’d vote Leave or Remain. Because the answer wasn’t the one he wanted, within 4 hours he’d put up another one. Take a look 👇
And then calls for help from the Remain side. Pretty embarrassing when you have to cheat your own poll eh @BrunoAm05317727
Lol 😂
And then @BrunoAm05317727 shows he agrees with me by liking my tweet. And then he blocks me. LOL no spine these Remoaners
Wouldn’t it be nice for Bruno if you showed his poll some love. The first one obviously. As that’s the only one that counts

MINI THREAD - Next General Election

There are some mixed messages coming from #Boris on what sort of #Brexit he will deliver on October 31st.

Here's my perspective as a voter on what happens in 3 scenarios

#BrexitElection

/1
If GE is before 31/10 choice will be

1. @conservatives (featuring @brexitparty_uk)
2. @LibDems (featuring @UKLabour & @theSNP)

A Tory/Brexit Party pact would result in a Leave landslide everywhere outside London & Scotland. Lab wiped out in Mids & North

GE after #Boris failed to deliver Proper #Brexit on 31/10 choice will be between

1. @brexitparty_uk
2. @LibDems (featuring @UKLabour & @theSNP)

TBP wins in a landslide outside London & Scotland. Tories wiped out. Labour wiped out in the Mids and North

THREAD of LEGENDS

To mark #3Years since the largest vote for anything in the UK’s history let’s celebrate the MPs, who by their actions in Parliament, have kept our #Brexit dream alive. They are an elite band of #BrexitSpartans. Every one a #BrexitLegend

#TheBrexit40

1/14
In this majority Remain Parliament there are only 40 MPs (6%) who’ve fought, under sustained pressure, to uphold the will of the British people as expressed in #EURef2016

28 #Conservatives
10 #DUP
2 #Labour

Here they are below. Please give them a RT

THREAD (#EP2019)

Polling Day is upon us & here is a thread showing why ALL #Brexiteers need to turn out & cast their precious vote for the @brexitparty_uk
See a graphic breakdown by region of how the main parties have betrayed us. On Thursday it’s time to say no more 1/14
Key:

Green is Good - Red is Bad

#BrexitWrecker is an MP who voted for a 2nd Ref &/or to Revoke A50 - All Remain parties are full of them #Labour is by far the worst offender

#BrexitInbetweener is an MP who voted for May’s WA more than once

#BrexitLegend True BeLeavers

#EastMidlands

Labour has 11 #BrexitWrecker MPs and should not be given your vote.

Vote for @zatzi @JonathanMEP @math_patten Tracy Knowles @DrAnnaBailey1

2018 has been a rough year for the EU and they’re probably very happy to see the back of it. So in the spirit of wishing Jean-Claude, Donald & Guy a Happy New Year for 2019 I thought I’d write a little to-do list for them /1

AUSTRIA

In Dec 17 the far right Freedom Party entered govt in coalition with OVP with a combined 58% (113 seats) of the vote. Austria became the only W. European country with a far right party in power. Combined they have 9/18 MEPs in @EUparliament & may get more in #EP2019 /2
BELGIUM

The govt fell in Dec 18 on a vote of no confidence. Coalition wld not support the UN Migration Pact & a caretaker PM with limited powers is in place until May. Recent polling shows support is growing for anti-migrant Flemish separatist parties N-VA (30%) & VB (12%) /3
