No “string of robberies” in the neighborhood at all.

#AhmaudArbery

"No burglaries were reported in neighborhood where Ahmaud Arbery was killed, contradicting suspects’ claim: report".
"Fucking Ni@@er" is what he said before he shot #AhmaudArbery.

Let me remind you, @realDonaldTrump, of your horrific record of #racism. You wanted to reinstate the #DeathPenalty for the #CentralParkFive. In 2016, you claimed they were still guilty, despite exonerating DNA evidence.
1. 1973: Trump refused to rent to black tenants; lied to blacks about vacancies
2. Black workers ordered off the floor when he visited Trump's Castle
3. 1988: Said countries "like Japan" were hurting the economic dignity of the US. Wonder who the hell wrote THAT for him?
4. 1969: After the Central Park 5 were accused of raping a NYC jogger he took out ad in local papers: "BRING BACK THE DEATH PENALTY. BRING BACK OUR POLICE!" After the convictions were overturned, NYC paid a $41M settlement.

@charliekirk11 I. Trump’s real-estate company tried to avoid renting apartments to African-Americans in fthe 1970s and gave preferential treatment to whites, according to the federal government.

@charliekirk11 II. In 1989, Trump took out ads in NY newspapers urging the death penalty for five black and Latino teenagers accused of raping a white woman in Central Park; he argued they were guilty as late as October 2016, more than 10 years after DNA evidence had exonerated them.

I will remind everyone that Donald Trump had taken out full page ads in 1989 asking for reinstatement of the death penalty in New York during the #centralparkfive case. Now the EXONERATED FIVE. Those ads impacted the decision to convict five innocent black men.
How the tides turn! Well done Jay Z!
For more on that case you can watch the Netflix documentary series by @ava called “when they see us”. The system of justice in every country is built to militate against those on the margins of society. It is that way BY DESIGN and not because of a few bad eggs and “mistakes”.

I'll certainly take a liberal who is not favored by Nazis, favored by a foreign adversary, over a Lily-White fake conservative any ol' day. I, too am a values voter, and rape, racism and xenophobia are not values I want to see in an American President.
The ultimate irony of The Tangerine 🍊 Tyrant is that this Lily White FAKE Conservative President (radical actually)
accused Mexicans and the #CentralParkFive of rape (being rapist) while he was raping!

What a nasty hypocrite.

He IS everything he accuses others of being.
White Supremacsy IS Hypocrisy.

The interview Michael Smerconish did Saturday of a police officer involved in the Central Park jogger case was irresponsible. The officer made unsubstantiated claims to make it appear that the men exonerated in the #CentralParkFive case are guilty. 1/
@smerconish interviewed Eric Reynolds, a former police officer who at age 29 arrested two of the defendants in 1989. Smerconish asked Reynolds about depictions in #WhenTheySeeUs of police coercing the teenage boys to confess. Reynolds said: “That’s ridiculous.” 2/
Reynolds said they "knew" the boys were involved in the rape after police asked Kevin Richardson how he got scratched. "He then admitted that the female jogger scratched his face. That’s the first we realized that they were involved in the attack” of the jogger. 3/

I watched @netflix's powerful, celebrated and acclaimed film titled @WhenTheySeeUs which is based on a true story. It was brilliant and captivating.I have no doubt that it will win awards, including an Oscar. It was an emotional roller-coaster: frightening, moving and troubling.1/
..I was shocked about the injustice that the American justice system meted out to the five innocent, young black boys that were falsely accused of the most brutal and vicious gang rape, framed up and jailed by those that manipulated the system and abused their power in 1989...2/
..The whole thing was simply harrowing and heartbreaking and the series took us through the whole ordeal as if we were actually there with the victims and sharing in their trauma and pain. What those boys were subjected to,including:
a)false confessions that were procured by..3/

I need to talk about what I just saw. (1/7)
I remember clearly when I first heard about the #CentralParkFive. I was the same age they were. (2/7)
The news coverage of the incident really unsettled me. I remember feeling deeply, viscerally afraid of "superpredators" and worrying that they would show up to go "wilding" in our Ohio town. (3/7)

.@EdgarAwards As a member and 2018 Edgar winner, I am begging you to reconsider having Linda Fairstein serve as a Grand Master in next year’s awards ceremony. She is almost singlehandedly responsible for the wrongful incarceration of the Central Park Five. 1/
For which she has never apologized or recanted her insistence on their guilt for the most heinous of crimes, “guilt” based solely on evidence procured through violence and ill treatment of children in lock up. 2/
Even after all five (now) men have been exonerated by the state of NY, and other members of the NYC District Attorney’s Office have admitted prosecutorial misconduct on the part of those handling the case in their office 3/
