Hard work never goes in vain. This is what I got on Amazon for BFCM for one of my client. A whopping ROAS of 15 with sales in six digits.
And these numbers will improve further due to attribution model and delayed reporting in Amazon ads.

Here’s a spending strategy that can help you scale during high competition times like Black Friday:

- Use top ads + targeting
- Use stupid high budgets
- Very low bids
- Accelerated spending
- Auto rules at ad set and ad level (turn off low performers daily, reset next day)

⬇️
The campaign shouldn’t start spending after launch.

Gradually increase bids every hour or two until you start spending.

Goal is to beat out competition early/at low cost, then let retargeting campaigns drive purchases if they didn’t already convert in prospecting.
The automated rules will do the heavy lifting here.

FB automate rules are great but you can use tools like @revealbot to take it to another level.

Will go more in-depth on this OG strategy in the substack with examples and steps.

1. Your product titles should be perfect

👉🏻 Put the most important keywords at the front of product titles.

👉🏻Customize the title wrt product
Eg - If you are selling earphones, putting brand name before the product will be advisable. Not so for something like phone covers.
👉🏻 Only 70 of the 150 available characters in a title being visible in the Shopping ad.

Those limitations are even more significant on mobile devices where only a few words are shown.

I’m willing to bet that when people look back at #BlackFriday2019 they’ll remember it as the year where the market saw a paradigm shift around direct-to-consumer retail. Independent businesses are thriving and they’re going to take down the big boxes & mass marketplaces.
Last year during #BFCM:

- Americans spent a record $14 billion online
- Shopify merchants hit a record $1.5 billion in sales globally

Let’s break some fucking records. 🔥
For my commerce geeks out there: I’m gonna be glued to this incredible data visualization that the team built all #BlackFriday2019. Live view of sales and orders per minute on Shopify, and a map view of how orders are moving across the globe. Check it out: datastories.shopify.com
