They appear to be like other govts, but this govt seems to play by different rules & exist in a parallel dimension where facts & truth have no currency.
On 13/3, the day SAGE called for a lockdown, #C4News reported how boxes of rapid #Covid19 test kits were being exported from UK around the world.
At the same time, frontline #NHS staff & care workers could not get tested or get PPE. #HerdImmunityScandal

Ystdy, I asked Profs @JeremyFarrar & @PeterHorby if they’d mentioned the paper published by @TheLancet which showed alarming ICU rates emerging from China, to NERVTAG & SAGE?
On 24 Jan, they’d both responded to @richardhorton1’s tweet on the findings.
They both replied to me.
Jeremy was in touch with Richard on 18/1 about clinical data & the severity of the disease.
As head of @wellcometrust, he’d issued a number of statements clearly setting out the dangers & the need for urgent coordinated action.

If @PeterHorby & @JeremyFarrar were aware of the dangers of #COVID19 in January & they informed the govt & their scientific committees, why was no action taken?
