Since many people look to #IOTA because of the gains, I would like to use this thread to show you some information about what #IOTA is, what they do and with whom they work.
The information is divided into DLT Protocol, Standardization, Government & Regulation, Industry & Technology, Mobility, World Trade & Supply Chains, Climate Protection & Agriculture, Smart City and Research.
Protocol:
IOTA is a permissionless DLT and the pioneers of the DAG systems.
They offer a free protocol that can run data and value transactions over the smallest of devices and runs very efficiently.
Designed for the real economy and for the interaction between man and machine.
IOTA offers a huge range of products from DLT, digital identity solutions, oracles, smart contracts, streams, Stronghold and much more. Most products are already in the alpha and beta stage and are peer reviewed
Standardization:
The leading standardization organizations recognized a few years ago that #Bitcoin, #Ethereum, #Cardano etc. with their PoW or PoS systems could not meet the requirements for the real economy, they started to standardize the #IOTA technology.
Government & Regulation:
Since the companies recognized early on that adoption of this new technology could not work without regulations, the private sector has teamed up with the governments and are working on the regulation of #IOTA technology.
Industry & Technology:
The industrial companies need an open #DLT for their use cases, via which they can carry out data and value transactions on the main layer, which is why they have categorically excluded DLT with fees.
Mobility:
Especially the #mobility sector have also recognized the benefits of the #IOTA technology.
From #OTA software updates to contactless and automated payment for electricity or parking spaces, there are numerous use cases that only work with Tangle technology.
World Trade & Supply Chain:
The supply chains are also one of the main areas in which IOTA technology is used. This offers itself purely from the basic structure of the Tangle, in which free data transactions are possible.
Industry giants like @EVRYTHNG, @ensuresec_eu work with their customers on solutions.
But @TradeMarkEastA also tries with some East African countries to make trade more efficient for local people and to deliver added value.
Climate Protection & Agriculture:
As the most efficient #DLT in the entire crypto industry, @IOTA is predestined to be used for the environment.
The @EU_Commission supports this directly through the @ClimateKIC, for example.
Smart Cities
The #IOTA technology is used in several Smart City projects to research use cases and to integrate the technology.
Including in several EU cities via the EU project @plusCities but also the city of Taipei and @observer are promoting Tangle technology in their cities
Research:
However, one if not the most important field is #research.
#IOTA receives a lot of FUD.
The truth is that leading industrial and technical universities as well as security companies review and help develop the research.
