It's Tuesday and also Day 412 of #Russia's illegal war, welcome to my daily🧵

So far today it's very quiet in terms of news. But there was quite a lot happening yesterday. If you missed anything, take a quick scroll through Monday's thread here.

The daily losses published by #Ukraine show that #Russia has now lost a total of 600 aircraft as I reported yesterday when another fighter helicopter was downed.

500 more troops met their end too, all for a few metres of muddy land and Putin's ego.

#Ukraine's Defence Min. is in #Odesa and during the morning briefing turned up the heat a little by announcing they can soon attack #Russia's Black Sea Fleet.

Moscow aligned priests have taken to conducting services outside inside the grounds but outside the church itself. More protesters came to give their views of the FSB influenced "church".

A drone has hit #Belgorod airport in #Russia.

Media report "an aircraft-type UAV with an unknown explosive device fell near the fence of Shukhov Airport and exploded."

All border airports are closed to civilian aircraft since the start of the war.

Another top athlete from #Ukraine has been killed by #Russia.

International cyclist Kostyantyn Deneka served in one of the special units of Ukrainian Intelligence.

The 40 year old died on March 31 near Bakhmut as a result of a shrapnel wounds

Indeed, plans before the Duma now to amend the law. Currently only papers served in person are legal call-ups. Soon emails and even text messages may be used to ensnare new fodder for the meat grinder.

#Russia has released video of the arrest of two men in the far east of the country. Both are accused of donating to #Ukraine's army.

One was picked up in #Khabarovsk, the other in #Sakhalin. Both are charged with treason.

Now I'm confused... In October @Danone announced it was finally selling its business in #Russia and planning to stop contributing to Putin's war chest.

So why today do Russian media report "Danone wants to continue working in Russia and plans to rename "Activia" and "Aktimel"?

It's being reported on #Russia's propaganda networks that this is a big hit on #Ukraine army vehicles.

It's said to have happened in #Zaporizhzhia but cannot be verified and the time stamp on this is not accurate. That doesn't mean it's fake, just it cannot be verified.

#Russia is having to send passenger airliners to #Iran for repairs.

Sanctions have left the Terrorist State so short of components, it's known an Airbus has made the journey to Iran.

#Ukraine's forces report another successful counterattack in #Bakhmut.

It's claimed (unverified) that an artillery strike hit "a concentration of #Wagner troops on Korsunskyi Street."

This moved quickly and has already been approved.

Among other restrictions, confirmation after a summons is sent, a person may not leave the country, and is banned from driving if they do not visit an enlistment office within 20 days.

#Russia claim two civilians were killed by shelling in the Occupied part of #Kherson.

They've published a video of a "Calendar Man" in #Oleshky holding a few scraps of metal and saying how there's been a crime, but strangely, no proof or even shots of the scene.

Meanwhile, in #Donetsk at least we have decent shots of an alleged attack.

Here #Russia says two men have been injured after shelling damaged minibus #63 in the Kuibyshev region of the occupied city. One of those injured was the driver.

Yet more damage today in #Kostyantynivka (RU: #Konstantinovka).

Here are new photos of damage to the #Ukraine held town in #Donetsk region, which #Russia is now pounding every day.

Rinat Akhmetov has filed a lawsuit in international arbitration demanding compensation for all losses caused to him when #Donetsk and #Luhansk "governments" seized his assets, including the Donbas Arena, home of @FCShakhtar

Occupiers in #Kherson show the damage after rockets hit a school in the riverside area of #Kardashynka, south of #Kherson.

Although it is under Occupation, some #Ukraine channels blame #Russia, though it's impossible to be sure either way.

#Hungary has agreed a new energy deal with #Russia.

In #Moscow today, Hungarian foreign minister, Péter Szijjártó gave details of the agreement, which will anger EU partners.

#Ukraine is likely to receive some cash as some fuel will pass through the pipeline there.

In Easter week some risky artwork appeared in #Russia's second city St Petersburg.

Kremlin security forces guarding Christ, presumably having nailed him to the cross.

Within a couple of hours it had been painted over with grey paint by panicked officials.
