@Gregoire1125, warrior with the @LegalAidNYC Immigration Pro Bono project, is doing as much as anyone in immigration courts and federal courts across the country to hold government officials accountable when they make shit up, tear families apart, and deport US Citizens.
Secret evidence, secret courts, and purportedly unreviewable allegations of gang associations are being used to stigmatize Central American migrants, and scapegoat immigrant communities. @ILRC_SF @OCAD_CHI @NIPNLG @ACLU_NorCal and @abogadatejana and others are fighting back.
This is resistance by the judiciary to pathways to stigmatization that lead to genocide: falsely painting immigrants gang members, then calling gang members animals, then saying they’re infesting and invading, and then claiming there should be no judges, no courts, no process
