Books:
Contagious - Jonah Berger

There are plenty more I have read but Contagious is really a must!

One of the best tips for people starting out that I have heard is from the Startups for the rest of us where they say you should test out with something fairly small to learn.
E.g. create an email course, video course (check out udemy) or something like a small plugin. That way you are able to learn the basics of finding the right audience, finding product market fit, testing out a business model canvas, creating a pre-launch signup list, marketing,
going through a launch, etc.

Another tip is to start building yourself a brand around your name through blogging/podcasting/video/or similar. The reasoning behind is to start building your audience so that you later can tap into that crowd once you have something to sell.
Learn programming

There are a bunch of skills that could be valuable for a young entrepreneur. Programming will probably be very useful in almost anything you want to create your business in. Even if you are not creating some application you still need to be able to set up web
pages and be able to tweak them and all sorts of smart things you want to do to market your product/service.

Other skills will probably vary depending on what you want to do

Join a startup instead of starting out with your own!

Another way is to learn by joining another
startup with a more experienced entrepreneur you can learn from. Most startups are looking for good programmers, designers, marketers. But even simpler tasks within marketing can be very useful and not require that much experience

Good luck!
