Here's what #OccupyICELou looks like this morning. Police are bracing for a group of (potentially armed) counter-protesters to gather further down 7th Street. The two gatherings are blocked by a buffer zone
A group that calls themselves the Interfaith Coalition for Immigrant Justice is heading to the #OccupyICELou side of the dueling protests
I'm on the other side of the protest now. Here's a flyer that police say they're passing out on both sides
This is the counter-protesters (the Three Percenters) side. Magazine Street is serving as a buffer zone between the two groups and there is a double line of gates on each side
Some more Occupy ICE protesters have gathered on the opposite side of the barricade, with signs that say "#AbolishICE" and "Anti-racist action." There's just one counter-protester so far
Make that two
The counter-protesters are dancing as #OccupyICELou shouts "This is what democracy looks like" and other chants
The Three Percenters have arrived. They're heading toward the barricades now
They're holding American flags (and one that says "Don't Tread on Me). There are about 50 gathered. And they have a blow horn. Chants of "America First!" and "Move the tent, pay some rent"
Here's a look at the scene on the counter-protesters side. Dueling chants: "Commies go home," this side says, as #OccupyICELou chants "Sanctuary now!"
Some drama among counter-protesters: people chanting "white power" are being kicked out by the Three Percenters because they say racism isn't welcome on this side
Wes Russell, a member of the @ThreePercenters from Frankfort, says he wants #OccupyICELou to understand their right to protest and freedoms come because the nation has laws: "The security of the country is what allows you to have these freedoms."
To the left is Derek Noble, one of the people kicked out of the counter-protesters side. He's the imperial wizard of a branch of the KKK in Indiana. He says he was surprised by the reaction of the crowd, says they're misinformed
John Svoboda, a @ThreePercenters member originally from Louisville, says the group supports the rule of law, not racism. "If it's against the law, if it's against the Constitution, we don't believe in a free pass."
#OccupyICELou: "This is what democracy looks like!"

Counter-protesters (some @ThreePercenters): "We're not a democracy!" And "Your opinion is irrelevant"
Some louder chants on the @ThreePercenters side — "All lives matter," "Blue lives matter" and "USA."

@occupyicelou responds with "No Trump, no KKK, no fascist USA" and "Here to stay."
Here's a closer look at some of the signage/flags the counter-protesters have brought with them:
I'm on the @occupyicelou side now. About 150 people are still here but I'm told it was hundreds more earlier this morning. They're chanting "no justice, no peace" and "The whole damn system is guilty as hell" #OccupyICELou
Some #occupyICElou signs:
A new #occupyICElou song: "This is for our people who are locked inside. Together, we will abolish ICE."
#CampCompasíon stretches down the sidewalk in front of the ICE building. There's a sign-making tent, one stocked with water and some others with supplies.
All's quiet now on the counter-protester side. (And, yes, I did trip in a hole at the end of this video)
Full dispatch from today: Anti-ICE rally surges in face of 'patriot' militia group counterprotest…
