One woman I interviewed was told by her psychologist that she was raped because she was so beautiful, tall and blonde& because she was a professional dancer. I spoke to her years later & she still wouldn’t dance. She had dyed her hair black. She covered her body at all times.
We have to hold our professional organisations and individuals responsible and hold them to high standards when it comes to sexual trauma. This particular psychologist changed her life - and not in a good way. She believed him.
