"Science shows that early exposure to circumstances that produce persistent #fear and chronic #anxiety can have lifelong consequences by disrupting the developing architecture of the brain."

[National Scientific Council on the Developing Child, 2010]
"While some of these experiences are one-time events and others may reoccur or persist over time, all of them have the potential to affect how children learn, solve problems, and relate to others."
This is a topic worthy of discussion. Consider WEF's rapidly accelerating consolidation of global power. In Jan 2019 WEF exploited the climate crisis by deliberately inciting #fear - in tandem with partners & media. Today it exploits the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We can now build robots that look as though they care - but it’s a synthetic version of caring and it may well be manipulating us”

“We have Palaeolithic #Emotions, Medieval #Institutions and god-like #Technology

And it is terrifically dangerous”

- EO Wilson
Asimov Rules of Robotics

A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.

“When we do not know, or when we do not know enough, we tend always to substitute #emotions for thoughts.”
—T. S. Eliot

I’d like you to understand why I keep saying
—your emotions are the target
—outrage is the goal
—To defeat, don’t repeat

Come, sit, read.
Going viral:

#Neuroscientists worldwide are increasingly studying #myelin and its amazing impact on rapid #learning, mastery, and neuroplasticity. So keep your circuits strong with deep, focused practice, but remember: #myelination requires quality versus quantity.
What Is #Myelination?
Myelination is the process of “insulating” a new neural pathway to strengthen it and to forge new default #behaviors. Heavily myelinated neural pathways are up to 300 times faster.
They’ve been optimized for speed and #efficiency. Increasing #myelination via intentional #practice helps us become more emotionally agile.

If your #body becomes very pleasant we call it a #pleasure

If your #mind becomes pleasant, we call it peace; if it becomes very pleasant we call it a #joy

If your #emotions become pleasant we call it a #love; if they become very pleasant we call it #compassion
If your life #energies become pleasant we call it #bliss, and if they become very pleasant we call it #ecstasy

If your surroundings become pleasant, you call it #success
A #seeker on the path of #awareness knows that #Pleasure, #Peace, #Joy, #Love, #Compassion, #Bliss and #Ecstasy are all different states of #Body, #Mind and #Energy, not the achievement milestones you can #conquer in an external world.

THE LANGUAGE OF GRIEF REVISITED
Mircroburst Essay #6?

One week ago, I said in a thread we lack the language to talk about #dying, #death, & #grief, and that we also lack the #emotions. I said we might need hybrid emotions such as grief-anger; grief-ambiguity; grief-humor.

Here is the link to the thread if you want to get yourself up to speed but it’s really not necessary. I think you can jump in from here.

2/
Anyway, this idea resonated with a lot of people. “Yes,” the masses (okay, maybe the smattering) said, “We need a better language and set of emotions to deal with the welter of the human experience. We lack the words and emotions to discuss and feel these things”

A Thread for Men: When your #woman is #emotional, #crying or #stressed out, do not hold it against her. One of the lies of #feminism is that men and women are the same, including that we should process #emotions the same way. Reject the lie. Listen and learn in the posts below.
#Women have much greater #hormonal fluctuations each month than #men do. Simply put, a woman's thought life and #emotions are more prone to high highs, and low lows. This isn't a "design flaw" but rather how #God made a #woman to be in touch with the needs of small #children.
Nothing is more short-sighted as a #man than viewing a #woman as an "overly emotional" or "flawed" version of a man's thought process or #emotions. A woman that does not let her emotions out will become very #passiveaggressive, #depressed or #angry. Your job is to be an #outlet.
