Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar issued the following statement today after Pfizer announced that they would defer July 1 price increases:
"Today’s announcement by Pfizer to roll back prescription drug prices in support of President Trump’s blueprint is a step in the right direction and a major win for American patients.
I commend Pfizer for its constructive and professional approach, and its desire to work with President Trump to be part of the solution and not part of the problem."
"President Trump has shown strong leadership in putting American Patients First. He has made it clear that Americans are paying too much for prescription drugs and that the price increases must stop.
I look forward to working with Pfizer and others who share the President’s concern for patients, and that want to work with us to lower list prices and reduce out of pocket costs."

Today, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released the number of enforcement actions at the southwest border for the month of December. Due to the lapse in funding, U.S. Customs and Border Protection is unable to publish the enforcement actions for December on its website.
Total Enforcement Actions (individuals apprehended in between the ports of entry and deemed inadmissible at the ports of entry) for the month of December in Fiscal Year 2019 was 60,782. December marks the third consecutive month of enforcement actions surpassing 60,000.

Here's what I've learned about avoiding the ban hammer on here from studying their cases.
1) don't engage trolls.

You will be able to tell in just 1-3 tweets if you are engaging a troll/fake account trying to bait you into something.

I don't really engage anybody on the other side here, except BRIEFLY. To announce I'm blocking/muting them.
I realize of course for a lot of people on here engaging 'the other side' and getting in their face and TELLING THEM OFF is most of what they want out of the 'Twitter experience'.

But here's the problem with that: this is not a level playing field. THEY mass report.

@drawandstrike @ThomasWictor I try to have conversations with fellow reporters I KNOW are highly intelligent-- but when it comes to Trump, there's just no swaying them. He's Hitler. When I ask specifically what he's done that makes him Hitler, they look at me like I'm from Jupiter. It's just accepted "fact."
@drawandstrike @ThomasWictor "He made fun of a crippled reporter," one guy said. So I tried to show him video that proves Trump makes the same hand gestures when mocking non-crippled people. The guy puts his hand up. "I don't want to get into a big conversation about it," he says and walks away.
