Following clashes between BJP & Cong in Salem over Garlanding of Kamaraj's statue yesterday, some brain dead Congies were questioning BJP's claim over Kamaraj, let me explain this in clear terms with an example.
MGR was initially part of DMK , later he quit DMK & started his own party ADMK. Until his death, MGR didn't rejoin DMK. He kept DMK away from power. Now if DMK owns MGR just because he was once in DMK , will it make any sense ? Definitely NO . Similarly
Kamaraj was insulted, humiliated & unceremoniously thrown out of Congress by Indira Gandhi when congress split. Kamaraj vehemently opposed the imposition of Emergency by Indira Gandhi, he was lamenting "OMG our Nation is gone " until his death he never joined Cong again
Kamaraj in his final days formed an alliance with BJP, parent party Jansangh . Today's congressmen are shameless ly serving the IG dynasty which threw out Kamaraj. What right has Cong to claim Kamaraj's legacy now ?
Present day scene of Cong claiming legacy of Kamaraj is akin to Cong claiming the legacy of Dr.Shyamaprasad Mukherjee , as he too was a minister in Congress Govt earlier before he quit Cong.
