if you don't live in seattle (or one of the other cities that has these, apparently) the ducks are like 17 foot tall ww2 amphibious landing craft that some piece of shit named Lyle thought should be DRIVEN ON CITY STREETS DURING DAYTIME TO GIVE TOURS
they are fucking GIGANTIC. they are FAR TOO BIG FOR CITY STREETS, AND THEY DRIVE THEM THROUGH DOWNTOWN SEATTLE. they are LOUD. they can't SEE ANYTHING. and like last year, one of them fucking drove over a bus and killed everyone on it.
this really is a fucking "why" instead of a "why not" situation. when someone tried to license these for use on the road the DMV should have refused on the basis of "come up with a really fucking good argument, asshole"
there's literally no reason for them to be legal, none. they serve zero purpose.
