I’m going to labour this point a little because I think it matters. Corbyn wants to give anti Zionists in Labour the right to label Zionists racist
This total reversal of IHRA definition effectively makes it impossible for Zionists to exist within the party. How can they if they are labelled racists?
This shouldn’t surprise. In 1984 Corbyn sponsored a campaign which clearly identified Zionism as racist. It also had a clear very aim. 
“Opposition to the manifestation of Zionism in the Labour movement & the Labour Party in particular”
I don’t see how Corbyn legitimising an antisemitic trope to make it possible to target groups like LFI & JLM can ‘work’. Zionists had the protection of internationally agreed standard on racism. Corbyn just took that away.
As @SP_Duckworth points out Corbyn did say arguing Zionism is racism is wrong. But he also speaks about it as if other people did it, not him. Anti Zionism as justified on the basis of Israel being a racist endeavour is v much in the present.
Here’s just one example. Raine was sent out to bat for Labour leadership on C4 news 2 days ago. Corbyn supporters use the argument Israel is a racist endeavour all the time.
